Կինը քաղաքականության մեջ... կանանց քաղաքական մասնակցության, հավասար հնարավորությունների, առաջնորդության և հանրային կյանքում նրանց ներգրավվածության ծեծված թեմաներով տասնյակ տարիներ Հայաստանում անհաշիվ թրեյնինգներ, հանդիպում-քննարկումներ են անցկացվել ու էլ չասեմ, թե ինչ հոգեցունց, սրտաճմլիկ օրակարգեր են ստեղծվել ու տարածվել: Սակայն երբեք չի խոսվել՝ արդյո՞ք վաղը հանրային, քաղաքական ակտիվություն անող կինը չի դառնալու քաղաքական բանտարկյալ միայն նրա համար, որ հանդգնում է դեմ գնալ օրվա իշխանության պարտադրած հակաազգային քաղաքականությանը, ճշմարտությունները բարձրաձայնելով արդյոք թիրախ չի՞ դարձնում ինքն իրեն, իր երեխաներին ու առհասարակ իր ընտանիքին, և ի վերջո, ի՞նչ ուղերձ է ստանում հայ կինը, երբ տեսնում է, որ քաղաքական դիրքորոշման համար ակտիվ կանայք դառնում են քրեական հետապնդման, ձերբակալությունների, հանրային նվաստացման, բռնաճնշումների թիրախ։

Վերջին տարիներին քաղաքական գործընթացներում ներգրավված մի շարք կանայք հայտնվել են քրեական հետապնդման, կալանքի կամ քաղաքական դրդապատճառներով իրականացվող հետապնդումների կենտրոնում։ Վերջին ամենաթարմ դեպքերը Լիդյա Մանթաշյանի, և արդեն օրերս կալանավորված`Արեգնազ Մանուկյանի դեպքերն են։

Անկախ յուրաքանչյուր գործի առանձին իրավական գործընթացներից՝ քաղաքական իրականությունն այսօր ձևավորում է չափազանց վտանգավոր միտում. ՔԱՂԱՔԱԿԱՆԱՊԵՍ ԱԿՏԻՎ ՀԱՅ ՄԱՐԴԸ ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆՈՒՄ ԱՅԼԵՎՍ ՎՃԱՐՈՒՄ Է ՃԱՓԱԶԱՆՑ ԲԱՐՁՐ ԳԻՆ` սեփական ազատությամբ ու զրկանքներով։

Երբ իշխանության հետ անհամաձայնությունը կարող է վերածվել քրեական գործի, երբ կնոջ քաղաքական գործունեությունը ուղեկցվում է ատելության խոսքով, հանրային թիրախավորմամբ և ճնշմամբ, շատ կանայք բնականաբար սկսում են իրենք իրենց հարց տալ` բայց արժե՞ արդյոք զբաղվել քաղաքականությամբ։ Սա միայն առանձին կանանց խնդիրը չէ։ Սա ժողովրդավարության խնդիրն է։ Սա քաղաքական բազմակարծության խնդիրն է։ Սա կանանց քաղաքական ներկայացվածության նվազման խնդիրն է։

Եթե պետությունն ինքը` օրվա իշխանության քմահաճույքներով թիրախավորում է կանանց, չի ձևավորում և չի երաշխավորում հանրային առողջ քննարկման բարենպաստ միջավայր, ապա երբեք հույս չունենաք, թե երբևէ այս երկրում կանայք ցանկանալու են իրենց կյանքը, կարյերան և ընտանիքը դնել հարվածի տակ` հանուն հայրենիքի, պետության կամ նման հուզիչ ձևակերպումներով գաղափարների, իսկ վայրի օրենքները շարունակելու են քանդել ու նպաստել պետության արդի զարգացման հնարավորությունների հետընթացին: Սա արդեն ոչ թե միայն անհատի, առանձին` կնոջ կամ տղամարդու, այլ ամբողջ երկրի և պետության կորուստն է լինելու։

Ժողովրդավարություն չի նշանակում ունեզրկում, չի նշանակում բռնաճնշում, չի նշանակում հալածանքներ, չի նշանակում ատելություն և անհանդուրժողականություն հակառակ կարծիքի ու հայացքների հանդեպ, չի նշանակում զրկանքներ, չի նշանակում սանձարձակություն և չի նշանակում սեփական բարդույթների արդյունքնում ձևավորված ընչաքաղց քայլերով խեղդել մարդու ազատությունները։

Ժողովրդավարությունը չափվում է հենց նրանով, թե որքան անվտանգ է Հայաստանում այլակարծությունը` բոլոր սեռերի դեպքում, իսկ կանանց պարագայում` հատկապես և առանձնապես։

Քաղաքական մրցակցությունը գաղափարների պայքար է, Nikol Pashinyan / Նիկոլ Փաշինյան , որը դու այդպես էլ չհասկացար և որին երբեք չհասար. քաղաքական մրցակցությունը մարդկանց վախացնելու և լռեցնելու միջոց չի կարող լինել ԺՈՂՈՎՐԴԻ ՄԱՐԴՈՒ համար։
