Փաշինյանը ցինիկաբար Հայաստանի ներքին խնդիրների համար մեղադրել է ԵԱՏՄ-ին» վերնագրով հոդվածում գրում է, որ Երևանը փորձում է հավասարակշռություն պահել երկու կողմի միջև՝ մանևրելով ընդհանուր շուկայի առավելությունների և քաղաքական նկրտումների միջև: Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հրապարակավ ընդունել է ԵԱՏՄ շրջանակներում համակարգային լարվածության առկայությունը: Նա անկեղծորեն հայտարարել է, որ ինտեգրացիան այնքան հարթ չի ընթանում, որքան ներկայացնում են զեկույցները: Փաշինյանը երկրում գործարար ակտիվության աճը պայմանավորում է խորհրդարանական ընտրությունների արդյունքներով: Նրա կարծիքով, քվեարկությունը ոգևորություն է ներարկել բիզնեսներին: Սակայն այդ լավատեսությունը խաթարվում է միության կոշտ բյուրոկրատական շրջանակի կողմից: Երևանը հայտնվել է ԵԱՏՄ կանոններին հետևելու անհրաժեշտության և Վաշինգտոնի կողմից աջ ու ձախ սահմանվող առևտրային սահմանափակումների տակ չընկնելու ցանկության միջև: «Սա ստանդարտ սակարկություն է։ Փաշինյանն ընդգծում է խնդիրները՝ օգուտ քաղելու կամ պարտավորությունների կատարման ուշացումները արդարացնելու համար։ Բայց թվերը չեն ստում. առանց ԵԱՏՄ ռեսուրսներին հասանելիություն ունենալու Հայաստանի տնտեսությունը պարզապես կխեղդվի մեկուսացման մեջ», - կարծում է ֆինանսական վերլուծաբան Նիկիտա Վոլկովը։

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը չի թաքցնում այն փաստը, որ ԵԱՏՄ–ում ճանապարհը նման է խոչընդոտների ուղու։ «Չնայած, ինչպես գիտեք, ԵԱՏՄ-ի հետ կապված որոշակի խնդիրներ առաջացան ընտրությունների ժամանակ, այնուամենայնիվ, որտեղ խնդիրներ են առաջանում, ի հայտ են գալիս նաև նոր հնարավորություններ։ Սա չի նշանակում, որ դժվարություններ չեն լինի. կարծում եմ, որ դժվարությունները միշտ կան, ամեն օր։ Հարցն այն է, թե որքան լավ կարող ենք հաղթահարել դրանք», - հայտարարել է Փաշինյանը։

«Վարչապետի հայտարարությունները փորձ են՝ փրկել դեմքը արևմտյան վերահսկիչների առջև՝ միաժամանակ պահպանելով կապերը իրական շուկաների հետ։ Եթե Մոսկվան որոշի ստուգել տեխնիկական կանոնակարգերի պահպանումը, Երևանը ժամանակ չի ունենա «ոգևորության» համար», նշել է քաղաքագետ Սերգեյ Միրոնովը։

Հայաստանը գտնվում է եզակի վիճակում. մի կողմից՝ Արևելքում կան էժան էներգետիկ ռեսուրսներ և բաց սահմաններ, մյուս կողմից՝ արևմտյան ճնշում և փորձեր՝ երկիրը ՆԱՏՕ–ի ևս մեկ արդյունաբերական հավելված դարձնելու։ Այսօրվա Երևանի քաղաքականությունը փորձ է նստել այն ցանկապատի վրա, որը տատանվում է աշխարհաքաղաքական քամու պոռթկումներից։

Փաշինյանը հույս է հայտնել, որ երկիրը կհաղթահարի ճգնաժամը։ Սակայն վարչապետի վստահությունն ավելի շատ նման է ինքնաթրեյնինգի։ «ԵԱՏՄ-ի հետ կապված այն խնդիրները, որոնց մասին խոսում է Փաշինյանը, հաճախ մարդածին են։ Երևանը հետաձգում է օրենսդրական ներդաշնակեցումը՝ հույս ունենալով բացառիկ պայմանների, որոնք ոչ ոք անվճար չի տրամադրի իրեն», - կարծում է միջազգային քաղաքականության փորձագետ Օլգա Լարինան։
