Վենդետտան թուլացնում է նախաապուշին ( придурок) ։
 
Երբ օլիգարխիայի կամ խոշոր կապիտալի դեմ քայլերը հասարակության, բիզնես միջավայրի կամ էլիտաների կողմից ընկալվում են որպես քաղաքական վենդետտա (վրեժխնդրություն) կամ «ընտրովի արդարադատություն», դա իշխող ուժի համար ստեղծում է դիրքերի էական և խորքային թուլացման լուրջ ռիսկեր։
 
Ահա թե ինչպես է վենդետայի ընկալումը քայքայում իշխանության քաղաքական ու տնտեսական հենարանները.
 
1. Ինստիտուցիոնալ լեգիտիմության կորուստ
 
* Օրենքի գերակայության վարկաբեկում․ Երբ թիրախավորումը տեսանելիորեն կրում է քաղաքական բնույթ (օրինակ՝ պատժվում են միայն ընդդիմադիր կամ անհնազանդ խոշոր գործարարները, իսկ իշխանամետները՝ ոչ), չեզոքանում է «արդարության հաստատման» բարոյական հիմքը։

Վենդետայի տրամաբանությունը կարող է ապահովել կարճաժամկետ քաղաքական միավորներ (մոբիլիզացնելով հակաօլիգարխիկ ընտրազանգվածը), սակայն միջնաժամկետ և երկարաժամկետ հատվածում դա թուլացնում է իշխանության դիրքերը՝ խաթարելով տնտեսական կայունությունը և ձևավորելով դիմադրության հզոր ճակատ։ Իշխանության ամրապնդումը հնարավոր է միայն այն դեպքում, երբ քայլերը թափանցիկ են, համահավասար և անցնում են անկախ դատական համակարգի ֆիլտրով։Սակայն Հայաստանում չկա դատական անկախ համակարգ և քաղաքական վենդետտան դառնում է նախաապուշի խարանը։
