ՀՀ-ում բազմակարծությունը գերակա արժեք է, իսկ Հայաստանի քաղաքացու նկատմամբ ցանկացած բռնություն դատսպարտելի է: Այս մասին Ազգային ժողովի արտահերթ նիստում' վերջին շրջանում հասարակական, քաղաքական գործիչների նկատմամբ կատարված բռնությունները դատապարտող հայտարարությունն ընդունելու հարցի քննարկմա ն ժամանակ հայտարարեց ԱԺ փոխնախագահ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովն՝ անդրադառնալով մի խումբ պատգամավորների քննադատական ելույթներին:
«Որոշ պատգամավորների ելույթներից կարելի է ենթադրել, որ մենք 20 տարի հետ ենք գնացել և հայտնվել ենք 20-րդ դարավերջում: Մոռացեք այլևս այն ժամանակները, երբ Հայաստանում մարդուն ազատ խոսելու համար ծեծում էին, երբ ազատ խոսելու համար թերթեր էին փակում: Այդ ժամանակներն անցել են»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ հայտարարեց Շարմազանովը:
Նա պատգամավորներին կոչ արեց ԱԺ ամբիոնից ուսուցչի, դատավորի կամ դատախազի դեր չստանձնել: «Մի փորձեք ավելի հայրենասեր ձևանալ: Մենք մեր աչքի փուշը չենք տեսնում, ուրիշի աչքի գերանն ենք ցույց տալիս: Հարգելի պատգամավորներ, քաղաքականությունը նաև փոխզիջման արվեստ է: Ինձ համար անընդունելի է այն մոտեցումը, որ եթե իմ ստորագրությունը չկա այս նախաձեռնության տակ, այն ինձ պետք չէ: Սա դեպի ոչինչ տանող ճանապարհ է»,- ընդգծեց ԱԺ փոխնախագահը:
Շարմազանովը բոլոր պատգամավորներին հանդուրժողականության կոչ արեց՝ ընդգծելով, որ Հայաստանում միշտ էլ խնդիրներ են եղել, երբ մրցակցությունը վերածվել է թշնամանքի: «Մի մոռացեք, որ մենք քրիստոնյա ենք: Մենք պետք է հանդուրժող լինենք, իսկ հիմա գործը հասել է նրան, որ մի ամբողջ 72 հոգանոց խմբակցության որոշ մարդիկ այս դահլիճից մեղադրվում են հանցագործության մեջ: Սա անընդունելի է և ճիշտ մոտեցում չէ»,- նշեց Շարմազանովը:
Եզրափակելով ելույթը՝ ԱԺ փոխնախագահը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց վերջին շրջանում հասարակական, քաղաքական գործիչների նկատմամբ բռնությունները դատապարտող հայտարարության համահեղինակներին՝ ընդգծելով, որ նման հայտարարության ընդունումը շատ կարևոր նշանակություն ունի:
