35-летний Маркус Персон, автор идеи игры Minecraft и создатель компаним Mojang, которая ее разработала, приобрел дом в Беверли-Хиллз в Калифорнии, заплатив за него $70 млн, сообщило издание Curbed.
Цена дома была объявлена в августе 2014 г. В сентябре стало известно, что купить его хотят популярные американские исполнители и супруги Бейонсе и Джей-Зи.
Дом площадью 23500 кв. футов (2183 кв. м) с панорамным видом на Лос-Анжелес и пляжи Малибу имеет 8 спален, 15 ванных комнат, бар, бассейн, домашний кинотеатр и подземный гараж. Кухня укомплектована столовыми приборами Roberto Cavalli, а ванные комнаты — унитазами Toto Neorest стоимостью $5,6 тыс. каждый. В гостиной размещена копия мотоцикла, на котором ездил американский актер Джеймс Дин. В доме установлено 3 дисплея с диагональю 90 дюймов, на которые выводится изображение с камер, установленных на крыше и обращенных на панораму города.
Цель архитекторов заключалась в создании «самого захватывающего дома в Калифорнии», согласно описанию объекта на официальном сайте. Строительство дома было окончено в сентябре 2014 г., и до сих пор в нем еще никто не жил. Договор купли-продажи был заключен очень быстро — всего за 6 дней, сообщили в риэлторском агентстве John Aaroe Group. Частью сделки стала передача покупателю нескольких ящиков шампанского Dom Pérignon, добавили в агентстве, передает Cnews.
Сделка стала крупнейшей на рынке недвижимости Беверли-Хиллз. Согласно порталу Realtor.com, средняя стоимость, по которой продают дома в этом городе, составляет $2,9 млн. При этом средняя стоимость квадратного фута - $1,3 тыс. Стоимость же квадратного фута в доме, который купил Маркус Персон, составила почти $3 тыс. ($32 тыс. за квадратный метр).
