1980-ական թթ. կեսերին Երևանում` ներկայիս Մարտիրոս Սարյանի անվան այգում, բացվեց ցուցահանդես` բաց երկնքի տակ: Այն ժամանակ հիմնականում նկարներ էին ցուցադրվում: Այն ստացավ «Վերնիսաժ» անվանումը, որ մատնացույց էր անում վերնիսաժային մշակույթի ձևավորումը Երևանում, հետագայում` ամբողջ Հայաստանում: Orer.am-ը ներկայացնում է «Վերնիսաժի» հագեցած և տաք գույները: Առօրյա անհետաքրքրությունից վերանալու համար, կարել է շաբաթվա վերջում գնալ զբոսնելու: Բայց ո՞ւր: Հենց այստեղ:  Հին ու բարի, բոլորի համար դրական մի տեղ` «Վերնիսաժ»: Ուղղակի զբոսնում ենք, տեսեք, թե ինչքան գույներ, գեղեցիկ իրեր: Արվեստն ուրիշ աշխարհ ա, դա այն  ա, երբ դու կախված չես գազի, լույսի սակագներից, հարևանի բամբասանքից, սիգարետի ամեն ծակուծուկ սողոսկող ծխից, դոլարի կուրսից: Նորից ու նորից անցնում ենք նռան պատկերներով գործերի  կողքով, ինչքան հավես ա, երբ ունենք մերը, մեր սեփականն ու կախված չենք ուրիշ ազգից, գոնե մեր մշակույթով: Ահա և ահել ու ջահել  պար են բռնել, երևի «Բարիկենդանին» են պատրաստվում դիմավորել: Տես... խեղճ էշը, չնայած որ բեռնել են, բայց սիրուն-սիրուն ժպտում ա մեզ, նրա դուրը գալիս է օգտակար լինելը: Պահ, ինչ վեհ  են կանգնել շախմատի հերոսները: Թագավորն ապրած կենա: Իսկ դուդուկն իր նրբին երգն է երգում: Ինչքան հանգիստ է այստեղ ու հետաքրքիր: Եվ հումորն էլ չեն կորցնում օրվա գաղջի մեջ...
