յն, որ Վրաստանի և Ուկրաինայի երբեմնի բարիդրացիական հարաբերությունները որոշակիորեն սառել են վերջին նամիսներին, փաստ է, բայց ընթացիկ զարգացումները թույլ են տալիս ենթադրելու, որ բացասական ֆոնը կպահպանվի, ավելին՝ կարող են առաջանալ լուրջ խնդիրներ: Բանն այն է, որ Ուկրաինայում տեղի ունեցած իշխանափոխությունից, Ռուսաստանի հետ խնդիրների առաջանալուց հետո Վրաստանից հնչող աջակցության և սատարման ուղղությամբ արվող քայլերը չէին գոհացնում ուկրաինացիներին, իսկ Վրաստանի իշխանությունները չէին ցանկանում ռուս-վրացական հարաբերությունների վերականգնման գործընթացին վնաս հասցնել, և առավել չեզոք դիրքորոշում էին դրսևորում, ինչն էլ, ըստ էության, վրդովեցնում էր Կիևին, ինչպես նաև բացասական էր դիտվում Արևմուտքի կողմից:
Ներկա շրջափուլում, սակայն, տեղ են գտնում իրադարձություններ, որոնք դուր չեն գալիս Վրաստանի իշխանություններին: Փաստ է, որ Ուկրաինայում տեղի ունեցած իշխանափոխությունից հետո այդ երկրի կառավարման համակարգում տեղի ունեցան փոփոխություներ, ինչն իր հերթին պայմանավորեց, նույն այդ համակարգում կառավարող պաշտոնատար անձանց փոփոխություն: Մի շարք պաշտոններ, սակայն, մինչ օրս զբաղեցրած չեն: Ի զկզբանե խոսվում էր վրացի քաղ.գործիչների և նախկին՝ Սաակաշվիլիի իշխանության ներկայացուցիչ՝ Վրաստանում իրականացված բարեփոխումների գործում ակտիվ մասնակցություն ունեցած մի քանի պաշտոնյաների ուկրաինական կառավարման ոլորտում ներգրավելու մասին: Նշված գաղափարն, անխոս նաև Սաակաշվիլիի, միտքը կարող էր լինել: Եվ այսօր արդեն իրողություն է, որ օրինակ՝ Վրաստանի ՆԳ նախկին փոխնախարար Նինո Զղուլաձեն զբաղեցնում է Ուկրաինա ՆԳ նախարարի առաջին տեղակալի աթոռը: Տեղեկություններ կան նաև, որ վրացի նախկին արդարադատության նախարար Զուրաբ Ադեիշվիլին, ում նկատմամբ, ի դեպ, Վրաստանի իրավապահների նախաձեռնությամբ Ինտերպոլի կարմիր շրջանակով հայտարարված է միջազգային հետախուզում, հրավիրվել է իրականացնելու Ուկրաինայի հակակոռուպցիոն խորհրդի քարտուղարի տեղակալի պարտականությունները, իսկ որ ավելի հետաքրքրական է, որոշ կարծիքների համաձայն, չի բացառվում, որ Մ. Սաակաշվիլին զբաղեցնի նույն խորհրդի քարտուղարի պաշտոնը:
Բնական է, որ Վրաստանի իշխանությունների սրըով չէ ուկրաինայի ղեկավարության այսօրինակ որոշումները, ինչի մասին բացահայտ արտահայտվել է նույնիսկ վարչապետ Ի. ղարիբաշվիլին, ով անընդունեկլի է համարել հանցագործության մեջ մեղադրվող և հետախուզվող անձանց նշանակել պաշտոնների: Վերջինիս կարծիքով ուկրաինայի իշխանությունների նման քաղաքականությունը կարող է վնասել վրաց-ուկրաինական հարաբերություններին:
Այսպիսով, կարելի է արձանագրել, որ Ուկրաինայի ղեկավարության քայլերը ուղղակիորեն քննադատության են արժանանում Վրաստանի իշխանությունների կողմից, իսկ մյուս կողմից վրացի պաշտոնյաների ոչ այնքան ուկրաինանպաստ դիրքորոշումը ռուս-ուկրաինական կոնֆլիկտի առնչությամբ դուր չի գալիս ուկրաինացիներին: Կարելի է միայն ենթադրել, որ վրաց-ուկրաինական հարաբերությունները վտանգի տակ են:
