Представитель спасательной службы Индонезии сообщил о том, что от местных жителей поступают заявления о звуках взрыва в районе острова Нангка, там и проводится прочесывание.
Национальное поисково-спасательное управление (Basarnas) Индонезии проверяет сообщения жителей архипелага Банка-Белитунг, слышавших взрыв в районе Яванского моря, где накануне пропал с экранов радаров самолет авиакомпании Air Asia Indonesia.
"От общественности поступает много заявлений о том, что они (местные жители) слышали звук взрыва в районе острова Нангка, так что мы проводим там прочесывание", — цитирует в понедельник новостной интернет-портал Detik.com одного из руководителей местного отделения спасательной службы Андриани (Andriandi). По словам спасателя, местные власти направили в предполагаемый район крушения самолета 11 катеров.
По сообщениям индонезийских СМИ, в возобновившейся утром в понедельник поисково-спасательной операции в Яванском море принимают участие свыше десяти кораблей, три самолета и три вертолета Basarnas, ВМС и ВВС Индонезии. Кроме того, индонезийские власти приняли предложенную помощь соседних Малайзии и Сингапура, а также Австралии, направивших на поиск свои суда и самолеты.
Ранее руководящий операцией глава Basarnas Хенри Бамбанг Сулистьо (Henry Bambang Sulistyo) заявил, что лайнер, скорее всего, затонул. По оценкам спасателей, глубина в предполагаемом районе крушения — около 40 метров.
Пропавший Airbus A320-200 вылетел из индонезийской Сурабаи в Сингапур накануне в 05.36 по времени Западной Индонезии (01.36 мск), а в 06.16 пилот запросил разрешение на изменение курса и высоты полета в связи с погодными условиями. В 06.18 по времени Западной Индонезии (время аэропорта прибытия — на один час вперед) авиалайнер пропал с экранов радаров, не подав предварительно сигналов бедствия. По заявлению перевозчика, пропавший лайнер в последний раз проходил техобслуживание 16 ноября.
На борту воздушного судна находились 155 пассажиров и 7 членов экипажа, в том числе 156 граждан Индонезии, три южнокорейца, один сингапурец и по одному подданному Великобритании и Малайзии. Ранее сообщалось, что радары Basarnas пока не обнаружили сигналов аварийного радиомаяка самолета.
