Սուրբ Ծննդյան տոների նախաշեմին ստեղծված իրավիճակն Ադրբեջանի ռազմաքաղաքական եւ ռազմական ղեկավարության նենգ քաղաքականության արդյունքն է եւ ամբողջովին հակասում է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի շրջանակում հակամարտության կարգավորման բանակցությունների ոգուն ու տրամաբանությանը: Այս մասին ասված է Հայաստանի Պաշտպանության նախարարության տարածած հաղորդագրության մեջ:
Դրանում նշվում է. «Ս.թ. հունվարի 2-ին եւ 3-ին ղարաբաղա-ադրբեջանական ուժերի շփման գծում, հակառակորդի կողմից ԼՂՀ պաշտպանական բանակի հարավային եւ արեւելյան դիրքերի ուղղությամբ տեղի են ունեցել դիվերսիոն-հետախուզական խմբերի ներթափանցման փորձեր: Պաշտպանական բանակի զինծառայողների զգոն եւ համադրված գործողությունների արդյունքում հակառակորդը, կորուստներ տալով, հետ է շպրտվել: ԼՂՀ պաշտպանության բանակի ստորաբաժանումները վստահորեն վերահսկում են իրավիճակը շփման գծի ամբողջ երկայնքով: Ցավոք, հայկական կողմը նույնպես ունի կորուստներ: ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը իր ցավակցությունն է հայտնում մարտական գործողութունների ընթացքում իրենց կյանքը հերոսաբար Հայրենիքին նվիրաբերած զինծառայողների հարազատներին եւ կիսում կորստյան ծանր վիշտը:
ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը հայտարարում է, որ Սուրբ Ծննդյան տոների նախաշեմին ստեղծված իրավիճակն Ադրբեջանի ռազմաքաղաքական եւ ռազմական ղեկավարության նենգ քաղաքականության արդյունքն է եւ ամբողջովին հակասում է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի շրջանակներում հակամարտության կարգավորման բանակցությունների ոգուն ու տրամաբանությանը: Միաժամանակ, ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը միջազգային հանրության եւ մասնավորապես` ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ պետությունների ուշադրությունն է հրավիրում այն անպատասխանատու քաղաքականության վրա, որը, փաստորեն, 2015թ. սկզբից եւեթ վերսկսել է Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունը եւ վերահաստատում է միջազգային հանրության կողմից նման քաղաքականության հասցեական դատապարտման անհրաժեշտությունը: Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարության սանձազերծած ցանկացած սադրանք 2015 թվականին նույնպես խստագույնս պատժվելու եւ անխուսափելիորեն հանգեցնելու է ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերի մեծաքանակ կորուստների, որոնց ամբողջ պատասխանատվությունը կրելու են այդ պետության իշխանությունները»:
