ՌԴ Պետական Դումայի պատգամավորների առաջարկը Անդրեյ Մակարևիչին զրկել բոլոր տեսակի կոչումներից ու պարգևներից, առաջացրել է հանրային լուրջ արձագանք: Շատերը դեմ են արտահայտվել նման կտրուկ նախաձեռնություններին նաև մշակույթի ոլորտից: Իոսիֆ Կոբզոնն օրերս հայտարարել է, որ Մակարևիչի ներդրումը անկարելի է ուրանալ կամ թերագնահատել և առաջարկել է Մակարևիչին ու այլ կատարողներին, համատեղ համերգով հանդես գալ Ածխագործի օրվա մեծ համերգին: “Մակարևիչը կոչումների ու պատիվների արժանացել է իր քառասունհինգամյա գործունեության համար և ոչ պատգամավորները, ոչ հասարակությունը իրավունք չունի նրան պատժելու նրան այնպես, որ այդ քառասունհինգ տարիները առ ոչինչ համարվեն: Դա վիրավորանք է ինչպես նրա, այնպես էլ նրա ղեկավարած համույթի համար”,- նշել է Կոբզոնն ու կոչ արել դադարեցնել ռազմական գործողությունները Ածխագործի օրը, որպեսզի հնարավորություն լինի ածխագործներին հավուր պատշաճի շնորհավորել մասնագիտական տոնի առիթով: - “Պետք է դիմել ուկրաինական կողմին ու աշխարհազորայիններին, որպեսզի հաշտություն կնքեն Ածխագործի օրվա առթիվ, որը նվիրական օր է, քանի որ աշխատավոր մարդու մասնագիտական տոնի օրն է: Լուգանսկի ու Դենցկի աշխատավորները վաստակել են այդ օրը հանգիստ ու խաղաղ անցկացնելու իիրավունքը”,- "Россия 24" հեռուստաալիքի եթերում հայտարարել է Պետդումայի պատգամավոր երգիչն ու կոչ արել իր բոլոր կոլեգաներին` երգիչներին ու երաժիշտներին արձագանքել ու իր հետ մասնակցել այդ օրվա տոնակատարություններին` մեծ համերգով հանդես գալով Դոնբասում: "Машина времени" խմբի ղեկավար երգիչ Անդրեյ Մակարևիչը իր հերթին հայտարարել է, որ պատրաստ է հանդես գալ Կոբզոնի հետ համերգի ժամանակ ու երգել Դոնբասի ածխագործների ու փախստականների համար: "Говорит Москва" ռադիոկայանին տված հարցազրւոյցին երգիչը ասել է, որ պատրաստ է երգել փախստականների համար ուր էլ որ նրանք լինեն, իսկ ռազմական գործողությունների մասնակիցների համար երբեք հանդես չի գա ու չի երգի, քանի որ ինչպես երգիչն է նշել. “դա հակասում է բարու ու գեղեցիկի իմ պատկերացումներին”: Հիշեցնենք, որ Անդրեյ Մակարևիչի ելույթը Դոնբասում որոշ դումայական պատգամավորներ համարել են հակառուսական ու առաջարկել զրկել երգչին բոլոր պետական պարգևներից ու կոչումներից: Սակայն պաշտոնական շրջանակները նման քայլը որակել են ավելորդ էմոցիոնալություն:
