Հունվարի 4-ին` ժամը 02:05-ին «Արմենիա» բժշկական կենտրոնից ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ նույն օրը` ժամը 01:25-ին, բուժօգնության է տեղափոխվել քաղաքացի Գ.Հովսեփյանը՝ «կրծքավանդակի ձախ կեսի ծակած-կտրած թորակոաբդոմինալ թափանցող վերքեր՝ սրտի, ստոծանու եւ հաստ աղիքի վնասով» մարմնական վնասվածքներով:
ՀՀ Քննչական կոմիտեից հայտնում են, որ դեպքի առթիվ Կոտայքի մարզային քննչական վարչության Նաիրիի քննչական բաժնում հունվարի 4-ին հարուցվել է քրեական գործ` ՀՀ քրեական օրենսգրքի 112-րդ հոդվածի 1-ին մասի հատկանիշներով:
Քրեական գործի քննության ընթացքում պարզվել է, որ Կոտայքի մարզի Քասախ գյուղի բնակիչ Վ.Հարությունյանը 2015թ. հունվարի 4-ին` ժամը 01-ի սահմաններում, իր բնակարանում լսել է պատուհանին հարվածելու ուժգին ձայն: Քիչ անց նկատել է, որ իր ննջասենյակի պատուհանը տեղահանվել է, իսկ դրա մետաղյա ճաղավանդակը բացակայում է: Անմիջապես շտապել է հյուրասենյակ, ապա` խոհանոց, որտեղից վերցրել է խոհանոցային դանակ:
Վերադառնալով ննջասենյակ` նկատել է Քասախ գյուղի բնակիչ Գ.Հովսեփյանին: Վերջինս տեղեկանալով, որ տանտերը` Հարությունյանը, ճանաչել է իրեն, բռունցքով հարվածել է, ապա փորձել հարձակվել նրա վրա: Նույն պահին տանտերը խոհանոցից վերցրած դանակով հարվածներ է հասցրել իր ննջարան մուտք գործած տղամարդու կրծքավանդակի ձախ կեսին:
Նախաքննության ընթացքում հարցաքննվել են մի շարք վկաներ, նշանակվել են դատաբժշկական փորձաքննություններ, կատարվել է դեպքի վայրի զննություն, իսկ Վ.Հարությունյանի մասնակցությամբ՝ քննչական փորձարարություն:
Գ.Հովսեփյանն առայժմ չի հարցաքննվել. ըստ բժիշկների` նա ի վիճակի չէ ցուցմունքներ տալու:
