Մի քանի օրվա վայրիվերումների արդյունքում դոլարը վերադարձավ իր նախկին մակարդակին, սակայն պակասուրդի հարցը արդեն կարգավորված էր: Գործեց արդեն լեգենդար ասացվածքը՝ «Շահում եք դուք, շահում է պետությունը»: Սակայն, ինչպես պարզ դարձավ ավելի ուշ, այստեղ հիմնական տուժողները դարձան բիզնեսմենները, այսինքն մարդիկ, ովքեր որոշակի դոլար ունեին: Վերջիններս էլ իրենց «մուռը»սկսեցին հանել շարքային սպառողներից արդեն մի նոր, յուրօրինակ ֆոկուսով:
Նախ նրանք չկորցրեցին բարենպաստ պահը և կտրուկ բարձրացրեցին ապրանքների գները, և միայն օրեր անց, վարչապետի և այլ գերատեսչությունների հորդորներից հետո համաձայնեցին որոշակի իջեցնել գները և դրանք ֆիքսել նախկինից ավելի բարձր և իրենց համար ցանկալի միջակայքում: Արդյունքում աղմուկը նվազեց, չէ" որ գները աստղաբաշխական թվերից իսկապես նվազեցին, սակայն ոչ թե այնքան, ինչքան առաջ էր, այլ այնքան, որքան ուզեց ձեռնարկատերը:
Իսկ այս հետաքրքիր պատմությունը ավարտվեց կրկեսային հայտնի ճշմարտությամբ: Շահեց կրկեսը, շահեց աճպարարը, իսկ խաբված մնաց հանդիսատեսը….
