Բրիտանացին, համացանցով Հայոց ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ լուսանկարի բնօրինակը վաճառելուց հետո, հետ է ուղարկել գումարը, երբ իմացել է, որ գնորդը Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտն է: Այս մասին «Արմենպրես»-ը տեղեկացավ Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտÕ « տնօրեն Հայկ Դեմոյանի ֆեյսբուքյան էջից: Լուսանկարում հայ գաղթականներ են, իսկ դարձերեսին գրված է. «Բաղդատը գաղթականների և թուրքական կոտորածները վերապրած հայերի նպաստամատույցի կենտրոնատեղին է, ուր հայտնվելով նրանց կեցություն ու սնունդը ապահովվում է բրիտանական կառավարությունը: Թուրքերը նրանց դեմ վատ են տրամադրված, քանի որ հայերը քրիստոնյա են, իսկ իրենք՝ ոչ»: «Լուսանկարը գնելուց և դրա դիմաց վճարելուց հետո, ի զարմանս ինձ, վաճառողից ստացա հետևյալ բովանդակությամբ մի նամակ. «Ես ուղարկեցի ձեր կողմից գնված լուսանկարը: Երբ գրում էի հասցեն, հասկացա, թե ուր պետք այն հասնի, ուստի որոշեցի ետ վերադարձնել վճարը: Ես դա անում եմ՝ հարգանք տածելով ձեր կորստի հանդեպ և ի նշան բարեկամության»»,- գրել է Հայկ Դեմոյանը: «Արմենպրես»-ի հետ զրույցում Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտի տնօրենը տեղեկացրեց, որ թանգարանի հիմնական ֆոնդերը համալրվում են ամենօրյա սկզբունքով. չկա մի օր, որ նոր նյութի ավելացում չլինի՝ դա կարող է լինել մեկ օրինակ, կամ տասնյնակ նյութեր: «Իրերից յուրաքանչյուրն ունի իր հետաքրքիր պատմությունը. որը քաղաքացիներին են ձեռքբերում, կամ՝ մենք ենք գնում: Կան բազում ցնցող պատմություններ, որոնք հանրությանը դեռ անհայտ են. ուղղակի, այս մեկը թարմ հետքերով ցանկացանք ներկայացնել սոցիալական ցանցերի օգնությամբ»,- նշեց նա։ Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարանը ներկա պահին գտնվում է վերակառուցման ընթացքում և դրա բացումը տեղի կունենա այս տարի ապրիլի 24-ին: Սակայն, թանգարանի տնօրենի խոսքով՝ մինչ թանգարանի բացումը ծրագրում է վիրտուալ թանգարանի ծրագրի իրականացումը։ Վիրտուալ ցուցադրությամբ կներկայացվեն տարբեր իրերի պատմություններ, նաև այն, թե ինչպես են դրանք հայտնվել թանգարանում:
