«Մարսելի հայազգի երիտասարդ Միքայել Ասատուրյանի երեկ՝ հունվարի 12-ին տեղի ունեցած դաժան սպանության դեպքի մանրամասներ:
Մեզ հասած վերջին հավաստի տվյալներով, Մարսելի 12-րդ թաղամասում գտնվող Կամիյ Ժուլիան լիցեյի մուտքի մոտ հանցագործները սպասել են Միշային՝ Միքայել Ասատուրյանին։ Նրա դուրս գալուն պես հարձակվել և դանակի հարվածներ հասցրել։ Նա մահացել է եղբոր ձեռքերի մեջ, որը նրան սպասել է դրսում սակայն մինչև հասել է, նա արդեն դանակակահարված ընկել է: Այդ պահին տեղի է ունեցել ծեծկռտուք, սակայն հանցագործներին հաջողվել է փախչել։
Ամեն ինչ սկսել է ավելի վաղ՝ լիցեյի սպորտհրապարակում՝ բասկետբոլի խաղի ժամանակ։ Պատանիների միջև եղել է հասարակ լեզվակռիվ, Միշային վիրավորել են, և մի աղջիկ սպառնացել է, որ կանչելու է իր բարեկամներին և նրա վերջը տալու են՝ սպանելու են։
Բարձրահասակ և հաղթանդամ Հայ պատանին հասցրել է զգուշացնել եղբորը, որը անվտանգության համար հասել է դպրոց և նրան սպասել ելքի մոտ իր ընկերոջ հետ։
Դեպքը տեղի է ունեցել ժամը 16։05-ի մոտ,սակայն շտապօգնության ծառայությունը ոստիկաններից հետո է հասել, հազիվ կես ժամ անց՝ երեք անգամ զանգահարելուց հետո։ Նրանց չի հաջողվել փրկել երիտասարդի կյանքը։
Ամենայն հավանականությամբ, հանցագործները արաբական ծագումով երիտասարդներ են, որոնց դեռ չեն ձերբակալել։
Ըստ հայամետ ֆրանսիացի պատգամավոր Վալերի Բուայեյի, որը անմիջապես հետո հասել է սպանության վայր, այս դաժան սպանությունը առնչություն չունի Շարլի Էբդոյի հետ կապված դեպքերի հետ, սակայն «Բարբարոսության բոլոր տեսակների դեմ պետք է պայքարել համաչափ խստությամբ»։

Միշայի ընտանիքին շատերն էին ճանաչում և հարգում։ Նրա հայրը ծնունդով Հայաստանից է և միշտ կապ է պահպանում Հայաստանի հետ՝ հաճախակի լինելով հայրենիքում։
