ԱԺ պատգամավոր Իշխան Խաչատրյանն իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրում է.Րոպեներ առաջ եմ վերադարձել Գյումրիից և մինչ այժմ մի հարց է ինձ մտատանջում` մի՞թե մարդ արարածը կարող է այդքան ճղճիմ լինել, մի՞թե մարդկային ձեռքը կարող է այդպիսի դաժանություն գործել: Գյումրիում հունվարի 12-ին տեղի ունեցած արյունահեղ ողբերգությունը ցնցեց բոլորիս:
Այսօր` Գյումրիի Սուրբ Նշան եկեղեցում տեղի ունեցավ ոճրագործության զոհ դարձած ընտանիքի անդամների հոգեհանգստի արարողությունը:
Ես, ներկա գտնվելով հոգեհանգստին, ականատես եղա մի սարսափելի և սարսռազդու տեսարանի: Դաժան էր…. Տեսնելով զոհերին, նամանավանդ փոքրիկին, որը կարծես թե անուշ ու խաղաղ քուն մտած լիներ, արյունը երակներումս սառչեց, մեծ ցավ զգացի սրտումս, ատելություն՝ դեպի այդ՝մարդկային կերպարանքով արնախում գազանը, որի զոհը դարձավ մի ողջ հայ ընտանիք:
Խորին ցավակցությունս եմ հայտնում Ավետիսյանների ընտանիքի հանարազատներին, մերձավորներին և ողջ Գյումրու ժողովրդին: Իսկ հրաշքով փրկված փոքրիկ Սերյոժային մաղթում եմ առողջություն և շուտափույթ ապաքինում: Գյումրեցիները բողոքի ակցիա էին կազմակերպել Գյումրիի ռազմաբազայի տարածքում: Ցուցարարները ռազմաբազայի հրամանատարությունից պահանջում էին Վալերի Պերմյակովին հանձնել Հայաստանի իրավապահ մարմիններին: Եվ ես՝ որպես մարդ և որպես քաղաքական գործիչ, արդարացի եմ համարում գյումրեցիների դիրքորոշումը: Պարտքս եմ համարում աջակից լինել գյումրեցիներին և հետևողական լինել, որպեսզի հանցագործը պատասխանատվության ենթարկվի օրենքի ողջ խստությամբ:Սա ոճրագործություն է, որն ուղղված է յուրաքանչյուր հայ ընտանիքի իրավունքների ոտնահարմանը:
