Վերջին օրերի իրադարձությունները, Գյումրիի ողբերգությունը ցույց տվեցին, թե որքան արագ է արդարության պահանջը համախմբում կարծես թե անհամախմբելի հասարակությանը, սակայն դրա հետ մեկտեղ` որքան շատ է զգացվում այդ միասնությունը ճիշտ ուղորդելու խնդիրը: Իսկ ճիշտ ուղղորդման խնդիրը վտանգավոր է ոչ միայն ինքն իրենով, այլ նկատառման կոնտեքստում, որ, ցավոք, շատ են արտաքին գործոնները, որոնք հաշվի չեն նստում ո’չ մարդկային ցավի, ո’չ հանրային արդարացի պահանջի, և ո’չ էլ արժեքների հետ:
Ռուս զինծառայողի կողմից կատարված դաժան, բարբարոս սպանությունը չի տեղավորվում որևէ տրամաբանության մեջ, և հասկանալի է, որ հասարակությունը մի շարք արդարացի պահանջներ ունի: Հասարակությանը, նախևառաջ, հստակ երաշխիքներ են պետք, որ, նախ, հանցագործը կպատժվի օրենքի ամենայն խստությամբ, ու թեև անհնար է հանցագործության համապատասխան պատիժ գտնել, այդուհանդերձ, կպատժվի ըստ արժանվույն:

Ոստիկանությունը ոչ միայն իր գործողություններով ու գործունեությամբ չի կարող գալ ու հասնել վստահության այն մակարդակին, որն անհրաժեշտ է նախօրեին տեղի ունեցած բախումներից խուսափելու համար, այլ որովհետև նրան համառ խանգարում են:
Ցավոք, ականատեսը եղանք, որ երեկվա բախումները, այդ պայքարը ոչ թե ոստիկանություն-զայրացած հասարակություն հարթությունում էին, այլ ոստիկանություն ու մի քանի տասնյակ սադրիչների մակարդակում, և սա առաջին դեպքը չի: Նույն դեմքերը, նույն «ակտիվիստները» պարբերաբար բեմահարթակ են ելնում տարբեր բողոքի ակցիաների ժամանակ և միշտ նույն երգը երգում` Պուտին, իշխանափոխություն, ստրկատիրություն և այլն:
