Գյումրիի Ժուռնալիստների «Ասպարեզ» ակումբի նախագահ Լևոն Բարսեղյանն իր ֆեյսբուքի էջում գրել է.
«Գյումրիի փողոցներում հիմա որեւէ ցույց կամ երթ չկա, չգիտեմ՝ պլանավորվո՞ւմ է թե՞ ոչ, եթե մի բան լինի՝ կիմանաք: Գլխավորը՝ սպանությունից հետո հասկացանք, ով հասկացել էր՝ համոզվեց, որ քաղաքը եւ հարակից տարածքները ռումբի վրա են նստած, այդ զորամասերի բարդակից ինչ ասես՝ կարող է առաջանալ: Երկրորդ ռումբը զգում եմ այն բանից հետո, երբ մարդիկ ՀՀ իշխանությունների թուլամորթ վարքից արդարացիորեն զայրացան ու փողոց ելան՝ պահանջներ դրեցին, խոստումներ առան եւ սպասում են:
Այդ սպասումը ռումբ է: Ես ամեն օր հարյուրավոր մարդկանց հետ եմ շփվում, մեծացել եմ այս քաղաքում, եւ գիտեմ, որ այս երկրորդ ռումբ էլ է մի օր պայթելու, թող որ սխալվեմ, բայց՝ ինչքան ուշ իշխանությունը գիտակցության եկավ ու գործն առավ իր ձեռքը, այնքան մեծանալու է հավանականությունը այն բանի, որ պայթելու է, ինչքան շուտ իշխանությունը տեր եղավ արդար դատին եւ դադարեց լինել ուշադիր դիտորդ, այնքան շուտ է չեզոքանալու հանրային կատաղության ռումբը: Որեւէ մեկը, ով իր դեպուտատ կամ նախարար հալով տարին 2-3 անգամ է լինում քաղաքում, եւ ֆռֆռում է իր շրջապատի ու թիկնապահների հետ, թող չասի, թե ամեն ինչ լավ է, մարդիկ սկսվել են, ռիսկեր չկան:
Կան շատ լուրջ ռիսկեր: Ոչ ոք Գյումրիում վախեցած չէ ուժայիններից, մահակներից եւ այլ խնդալու բաներից: Բոլորը սպասում են: Չգիտեմ՝ ինչքան են սպասելու, Կոստանյանն ու Սարգսյանը միայն գիտեն՝ ինչքան պիտի սպասեն մարդիկ: Ռուսների հետ ինչ-որ շտաբ-բան սարքելը, ձեւական բան է, համատեղ գործող շտաբ փաստացի կար զինվորի փախուստի մասին մեր ոստիկանությանը հայտնելու պահից, երեկ-էսօրվա հայտարարությոնը շտաբ ստեղծելու մասին փաստացի եղած շտաբին իրավական կարգավիճակ տալու մասին է, ոչ մի արմատական փոփոխություն, գործի գլխավոր որոշումների կատարողը մնում է ռուսական կողմը, մերոնք աջակցող կողմ են, պիտի լինի հակառակը:
