Հովհաննես Ազոյանը իր ֆեյսբուքյան էջում գրում է.
Տպավորություն ունեմ ու ուզում եմ ձեզ հետ կիսվել.....նկատում եմ, որ մեր ազգը մեծ սգի մեջ է։ Ազգի բոլոր անդամները, անկախ պաշտոնից, հարստությունից, աղքատությունից, տեսակից, կրթվածության աստիճանից, տարիքից, սեռից, անգրագիտության աստիճանից և այլն։ Բոլորի աչքերում այդ նույն սուգն է ու կարծես բոլորի հետ նույն դեպքն է պատահել։ Թևաթափ են բոլորը, ուսանողը չի ուզում սովորել, աշխատողը չի ուզում աշխատել, սովածն էլ չի ուզում հաց ուտել....իսկ հենց ուզում ես ժպտալ, անմիջապես աչքերդ կախում ես, կարծես ներողություն խնդրես դիմացինիցդ ժպիտիդ համար։ Այդ սգո անկեղծ զգացողությունը մեզ մոտ պատահաբար հայտնվեց, թեև օրինաչափ էր։ Այն ինչ հիմա զգում է հայը, ես դա առաջին անգամ զգացի մարտի 1-ի ու դրան հաջորդող պրոցեսների ընթացքում.... երբ նույնը տեղի ունեցավ, ոչ թէ մի ամբողջ ազգի, այլ մեկ մարդու հետ՝իմ։ Ես կորցրեցի իմ հստակ ընթացքը, հավեսը աշխատելու, սովորելու, ապրելու, երջանկանալու....ես տեսա, թէ ինչպես կորցրի երիտասարդ լինելու իմ իրավունքը....ծանր էր ինձ համար շատ....կարծես ցեղասպանված լիներ ազգիս մի մասը, բայց սուգը թաքցված............... հետո հասկացա, որ պիտի դուրս գալ այդ վիճակից.... սկսեցի զբաղեցնել ինձ տարբեր բաներով՝ երաժշտություն լսելով, գինի խմելով, ծիծաղել ու ծիծաղեցնելով.... բայց ոչինչ չէր օգնում հիմնովին... ու միշտ սուգը ներկա էր, չխոսող ընկերոջդ պես..... ու հանկարծ ես վերասիրահարվեցի մարդուն՝ իր թերություններով, միամտությամբ, բարությամբ, հանդուրժողականությամբ, անկեղծությամբ, վախերով ու խիզախությամբ......... մարդ սիրելը ինձ օգնեց ապրել ու կամաց կամաց բուժել մեծ վերքից առաջացած բոլոր վերքերս...... ներել ու սիրել, որ աշխատել ու ստեղծել կարողանալ ու այդպես հաղթահարել ցեղասպանության վիշտը............ Սիրել....
