Глава компании Google и один из богатейших предпринимателей мира Эрик Шмидт считает, что дни интернета в его современной форме сочтены. Это мнение он выразил в четверг в ходе одной из дискуссий на Всемирном экономическом форуме в швейцарском Давосе.
Когда его спросили, какое будущее ожидает глобальную электронную сеть, он сказал: "Я отвечу очень просто: интернет исчезнет. Будет так много IP-адресов, так много устройств, датчиков, вещей, которые на вас надеты, вещей, с которыми вы взаимодействуете, что вы перестанете это даже ощущать, - пояснил он. - Это будет постоянной частью вашей жизни".
"Вы наблюдаете появление такого множества мощных технических платформ, видите, как меняется или будет меняться порядок доминирования, то есть лидерства, называйте как угодно, из-за появления мобильных приложений для смартфонов", - отметил Шмидт. "Сейчас совершенно невозможно предсказать, как будет выглядеть инфраструктура таких приложений, поскольку выдвигается целая новая когорта игроков, усиливающих мощь смартфонов, которые, по сути, не что иное, как суперкомпьютеры", - продолжал он. "В данный момент я рассматриваю этот рынок как совершенно открытый", - добавил руководитель Google.
В той же дискуссии Шмидт затронул и другие темы и, в частности, рассказал о своей недавней поездке в КНДР. По его словам, там хватает выходов в интернет, но нет роуминга, а пользование сетью жестко контролируется.
