Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտը հունվարի 22-ին հայ հանրությանը ներակայացրեց իր հայալեզու «Ցեղասպանագիտական հանդես» և անգլալեզու «International Journal of Armenian Genocide Studies» ամսագրերի անդրանիկ համարները:
«Արմենպրես»-ի փոխանցմամբ' թանգարան-ինստիտուտի տնօրեն և Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցին նվիրված միջոցառումները համակարգող պետական հանձնաժողովի քարտուղար Հայկ Դեմոյանն իրադարձությունը պատմական որակեց և նշեց, որ ամսագրերի օրինակներն առաջինը պատրաստվում են ուղարկել թուրքական համալսարաններին:
«Հրապարակ բերելով Հայոց ցեղասպանության ուսումնասիրությունների առաջին միջազգային հանդեսը' լուրջ հայտ ենք ներկայացնում ցեղասպանագիտության ասպարեզում: Թանգարանը ևս մեկ այցեքարտով է հանդես գալիս միջազգային հանրությանն իր անգլալեզու հանդեսով, որն այլևս իրականություն է: Իսկ հանդեսի առաջին հեասցեատերերը կլինեն մեր հարևան երկրները, և այս ամսագրերի օրինակներն առաջինը կուղարկվեն թուրքական համալսարաններ»,- ասաց Դեմոյանը:
Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտի փոխտնօրեն Սուրեն Մանուկյանն իր հերթին նկատեց, որ Հայաստանում կար գիտական հանդեսի պակասը, որը կունենար նեղ մասնագիտական, գիտական ուղղվածություն: «Նաև հաշվի առնելով հայրուրամյա տարելիցի նկատմամբ հետաքրքրության աճը' որոշում կայացվեց հրապարակել հայալեզու «Ցեղասպանագիտական հանդեսը»:
Հայ և արտասահմանցի երտասարադ գիտնականները կարող են իրենց հետազոտությունները հրապարակել այս ամսագրում: Իսկ անգլերեն ամսագիրը միջազգային ակադեմիակա ն գործունեության կարևորագույն քայլ է»,- ասաց Սուրեն Մանուկյանը:
Նրա խոսքով' ցեղասպանության ուսումնասիրություններին նվիրված մինչ այժմ աշխարհում հրապարակվող երեք հեղինակավոր ամսագրերը միայն որոշ չափով են ներկայացնում Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: Անգլալեզու հանդեսը հանարավորություն կտա Հայաստանի հայագիտական միտքը աշխարհին ներակայացնել, ինչպես նաև կնպաստի միջազգային մակարդակի հայկական ցեղասպանագիտական դպրոցի ձևավորմանը:
«Ցեղասպանագիտական հանդեսը» լույս է տեսել 2013 թվականի վերջմին, իսկ «International Journal of Armenian Genocide Studies» ամսագիրը' 2014 թվականի վերջին:
Ամսագրում հավասարապես տեղ կգտնեն ինչպես հայ, այնպես էլ օտարերկրացի հեղինակների հոդվածներն ու աշխատությունները: Ամսագրերի օրինակները կուղարկվեն աշխարհի առաջատար համալսարաններ:
