Իրանը մշտապես կողմ է տարածաշրջանի երկրների միջև խաղաղության և բարեկամության հաստատմանը և հույս ունի, որ առկա հակամարտությունը կլուծվի միջազգային սկզբունքների հիման վրա' բացառապես խաղաղ ճանապարհով: Այս մասին հունվարի 27-ին Հայաստանի և Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարների բանակցությունների ավարտից հետո լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն ասաց Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Մոհամադ Ջավադ Զարիֆը: «Մենք ցանկանում ենք, որպեսզի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտությունը բացառապես խաղաղ լուծում ստանա: Դա մեր ցանկությունն է, որպեսզի տարածաշրջանի երկրների միջև հաստատվի խաղաղություն և բարեկամություն»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց նա:
Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարն անդրադարձավ նաև Իրանի միջուկային ծրագրին՝ ընդգծելով, որ դա բացառապես խաղաղ նպատակներ է հետապնդում: «Իրանի միջուկային ծրագիրը իրականացվում է խաղաղ նպատակներով, իսկ դիմացինը պետք է հասկանա, որ պատժամիջոցների, ճնշումների լեզվով որևէ հարց հնարավոր չէ լուծել: Ընդհանրապես ոչ մի երկիր մեկ այլ երկրի հետ չպետք է խոսի ճնշումների լեզվով, դա ճիշտ ճանապարհ չէ»,- նշեց Մոհամադ Ջավադ Զարիֆը՝ հավելելով, որ Իրանի միջուկային ծրագրի շուրջ բանակցություններն արդեն որոշակի դրական առաջընթաց են գրանցել: Նա համոզվածություն հայտնեց, որ այդ ծրագիրը բխում է ոչ միայն տարածաշրջանի, այլ բոլոր երկրների շահերից:
Անդրադառնալով հայ-իրանական հարաբերություններին՝ Իրանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարը կարևորեց Թեհրանում կայացած Իրան-Հայաստան միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի 12-րդ նիստը, որի ժամանակ քննարկվել են երկկողմ համագործակցության հարցեր: «Մենք սերտ համագործակցություն ունենք տարբեր ոլորտներում և պատրաստվում ենք խորացնել այդ համագործակցությունը, ընդլայնել դրա շրջանակները: Միջկառավարական հանձնաժողովի 12-րդ նիստի ժամանակ մենք բազմաթիվ ծրագրեր ենք համաձայնեցրել և հույս ունենք, որ առաջիկայում հնարավորություն կունենանք դրանք կյանքի կոչել»,- ասաց նա:
Եզրափակելով խոսքը՝ Իրանի ԱԳ նախարարը շնորհակալություն հայտնեց ջերմ ընդունելության համար՝ ընդգծելով, որ անչափ շնորհակալ են Հայաստանին և բարի հայ ժողովրդին:
