Внешняя политика Барака Обамы заслуживает самых низких оценок, в частности за неудачную перезагрузку отношений с Россией и неопределенность по поводу "курса на Азию". Налицо все признаки истощения интеллектуальных ресурсов властей США, считает американский политолог.
Администрации Барака Обамы не хватает ясного видения внешней политики США, из-за чего наблюдается провал практически по всем направлениям, пишет профессор Бостонского университета, политолог и публицист Эндрю Басевич для аналитического портала Tomdispatch.
По мнению политолога, ни одна из ключевых внешнеполитических инициатив, предпринятых Обамой во время первого президентского срока, не увенчалась успехом. Появление новой политической платформы в исламском мире привело к глупой войне в Ираке (и к далеко не самой обязательной войне в Афганистане), провалился проект перезагрузки российско-американских отношений, не удается и "курс на Азию". Ноль баллов из четырех возможных, заключает Басевич.
"Увы, эта пресная, глубоко бессодержательная политика наиболее четко обрисовывает контуры эры Обамы. Редко увидишь, чтобы тяжкий труд столь авторитетных и уважаемых людей приносил столь ничтожный результат", — пишет эксперт.
"Рассматривая послужной список американского президента, куда входят и ставшие рутинными воздушные атаки беспилотников, Нобелевский комитет, возможно, захотел бы забрать назад Нобелевскую премию мира у Обамы", — полагает профессор. Президентский срок Обамы истекает, и Эндрю Басевич не уверен, что стоит многого ожидать от американской внешней политики в этот период.
Да, есть некоторые договоренности по ядерной программе Ирана (тем не менее, американские законодатели рассматривают введение еще больших санкций в адрес иранского государства), пишет он, однако налицо все признаки интеллектуального истощения.
"Там, где нет видения, гибнут люди. Не стоит обманывать себя. Если чего нет и никогда не было у Барака Обамы и его администрации, то внятного видения внешнеполитического курса государства", — считает профессор Бостонского университета.
