Արմավիրի մարզում ոռոգման համակարգի խնդիրները կարգավորելու համար արդեն իսկ մեկնարկել են պոմպակայանների և ջրանցքների նախպատրաստման աշխատանքները: Մարզի գյուղատնտեսների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ ՀՀ գյուղատնտեսության նախարար Սերգո Կարապետյանն ընդգծել է, որ թեպետ եղանակային պայմաններն այնքան էլ բարենպաստ չեն, սակայն նախարարությունը հաշվի է առել բոլոր ռիսկերը և կփորձի ապահովե լ կայուն ջրամատակարարում:
«Նկատի ենք ունեցել ամենավատատեսական սցենարները, և արդեն կոնկրետ քայլեր են իրականացվում անհրաժեշտության դեպքում այլընտրանքային ջրաղբյուրների օգտագործման համար: Արմավիրի մարզում կան 62 ջրանցքներ, որոնք երկար տարիներ չեն շահոգործվել: Այս ջրանցքները կվերանորոգվեն և անհրաժեշտության դեպքում կապահովեն մի շարք հողատարածքների ոռոգումը»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ' հայտնեց նախարարը: Նա նշեց, որ թեև դա հարցին որոշակի լուծում կտա, սակայն ոռոգման խնդրի կարգավորումը հնարավոր է միայն կաթիլային ոռոգման համակարգերի ներդրմամբ:
Ջրային տնտեսության պետական կոմիտեի նախագահի ժամանակավոր պաշտոնակատար Գագիկ Խաչատրյանն էլ ընդգծեց, որ այս տարի ՋՕԸ-երի առջև սեղմ ժամկետներում համակարգը կարգի բերելու խնդիր է դրվել: «Եթե ամեն տարի ոռոգման սեզոնը մեկնարկում էր ապրիլի 1-ից, ապա այս տարի արդեն իսկ մարտի 1-ին պատրաստ կլինենք ոռոգման սեզոնին: Նախատեսում ենք նաև մարզում գույքագրել բոլոր չշահագործվող խորքային հորերը' անհրաժեշտության դեպքում դրանք նույնպես աշխատունակ վիճակի բերելու համար»,- տեղեկացրեց Խաչատրյանը:
