ԱՄՆ-ը շարունակում է քննադատել Թուրքիային' Սիրիայում «Իրաքի եւ Լեւանտի իսլամական պետություն» (ԻԼԻՊ) ահաբեկչական խմբավորման դեմ պայքարում ԱՄՆ-ի գլխավորած միջազգային կոալիցիոն ուժերին չմիանալու համար:
Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, The Washington Post ամերիկյան ազդեցիկ թերթն այդ առնչությամբ գրում է, որ քրդաբնակ Քոբանին ԻԼԻՊ-ից ազատագրելու գործում Թուրքիան այդպես էլ չմիացավ միջազգային կոալիցիոն ուժերին, ավելին' անգամ թույլ չտվեց ԱՄՆ-ին օգտվել բախումների գոտուն այդքան մոտ գտնվող իր «Ինջիրլիք» ավիաբազայից:
Ամերիկյան թերթն այդ իրողությունը արտասահմանում ԱՄՆ-ի ռազմական բազաների ռազմավարության տեսակետից «կարեւոր զարգացում» է գնահատել: «ԻԼԻՊ-ը բռնազավթել է Թուրքիայի սահմանին շատ մոտ գտնվող հողեր, իսկ Անկարան ԱՄՆ-ին երբեք թույլ չտվեց օգտագործել Ինջիրլիքի իր բազան ու չմիացավ կոալիցիոն ուժերին», -նշել է թերթը:
Թերթը հիշեցրել է, որ Թուրքիան նման պահվածք է դրսեւորել նաեւ 2003 թվականին Իրաքի դեմ ԱՄՆ-ի գլխավորությամբ իրագործված ռազմական գործողությունների ժամանակ, երբ Թուրքիայի խորհրդարանը չթույլատրեց օգտագործել երկրի տարածքը կոալիցիոն ուժերն Իրաք փոխադրելու համար, ինչպես նաեւ օգտվել «Ինջիրլիք» ռազմական ավիաբազայից:
Թերթը նշում է, որ ԻԼԻՊ-ի դեմ պայքարում տեղ ունենալու համար Թուրքիայի կողմից ցանկություն չդրսեւորելու պատճառով Վաշինգտոնը համագործակցություն է սկսել քրդերի հետ, եւ այդ զարգացումը կարող է ԱՄՆ-ի ռազմաբազաների համակարգի ապագայի տեսակետից «չնախատեսված» ազդեցություն եւ հետեւանք ունենալ.
«Չնայած, դեռեւս չի նշանակում, որ կոալիցիոն ուժերի կողմից Քոբանիի ազատագրումից հետո քրդերի եւ ԱՄՆ-ի միջեւ համագործակցությունը կարող է նոր ռազմաբազայի ստեղծման հարց առաջացնել, եւ ավտոմատ կերպով ԱՄՆ-ին հրավիրել մնալ Սիրիայում, այդուհանդերձ, ԻԼԻՊ-ի դեմ պայքարին Թուրքիայի չմասնակցելը ցույց տվեց, որ օտար երկրում ռազմական ավիաբազա ունենալը երբեք էլ երաշխիք չէ ամեն ժամանակ այդ բազաների օգտագործման համար»:
Միջազգային մամուլն ավելի վաղ բազմիցս հայտնել էր, որ Թուրքիան ոչ միայն չի ցանկանում մասնակցել ԻԼԻՊ-ի դեմ միջազգային կոալիցիոն ուժերի ռազմական գործողություններին, այլ հակառակը, զենք-սպառազինություն եւ թիկունքային տարբեր տեսակի օգնություն է ցուցաբերում ԻԼԻՊ-ի մարտիկներին:
