Հյուսիսատլանտյան պայմանագրի կազմակարպության (ՆԱՏՕ) մեջ մտնող երկրները չեն պլանավորում զենք մատակարարել Ուկրաինային: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով ceskatelevize.cz –ին, այս հայտարարությունն Է արել Չեխիայի պաշտպանության նախարարության ղեկավար Մարտին Ստրոպնիցկին՝ ամփոփելով դաշինքի անդամ երկրների պաշտպանության նախարարների՝ փետրվարի 5-ին Բրյուսելում կայացած հանդիպման արդյունքները:
«Շատ դժվար կլիներ պատկերացնել, որ ՆԱՏՕ-ի անդամ երկրներից մեկը զենք մատակարարի ի հեճուկս կազմակերպության որոշման»,- հայտարարել Է գերատեսչության ղեկավարը: Ըստ որում նա համաձայնել Է ՆԱՏՕ-ի որոշմանը՝ նշելով, որ «սպառազինությունների մատակարարումները սոսկ կվատթարացնեն իրադրությունը, ինչը մեզնից ոչ մեկը չի ցանկանում»:
«Հանդիպման բոլոր մասնակիցներն ամբողջ ժամանակ կրկնում Էին, որ Ուկրաինայի իրադրության լուծման այլ միջոց գոյություն չունի, քան բանակցություններ վարելը եւ Մինսկի համաձայնություններին հավատարիմ մնալը»,- Ստրոպնիցկու խոսքը մեջբերում Է ՌԻԱ Նովոստին:
Ավելի վաղ Ուկրաինայի իշխանություններին զենքի մատակարարումներից հրաժարվել են Իտալիան, Հունգարիան եւ Գերմանիան:
ԳՖՀ-ի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Ֆրանկ Վալտեր Շտայնմայերը, մասնավորապես, հայտարարել Է, որ դիվանագիտությունն Է Ուկրաինայի արեւելքում ստեղծված ճգնաժամի լուծման միակ կենսունակ ճանապարհը: «Ես ոչ մի այլ լուծում չեմ տեսնում, բացի նրանից, որի վրա մենք աշխատում ենք»,- ասել Է Շտայնմայերը: Նա նաեւ կրկին դեմ Է արտահայտվել Է Ուկրաինային զենքի մատակարարմանը: «Այս իրադրությունը չի բարելավվի եւ չի փոխվի, եթե մենք ավելի շատ զենք մատակարարենք Ուկրաինային»,-հավելել Է նախարարը:
Իր հերթին, Մեծ Բրիտանիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Ուիլյամ Հեյգը հայտարարել Է, որ իր երկիրն առաջիկայում չի պատրաստվում «մահաբեր ռազմական օգնություն» ցուցաբերել Ուկրաինային: Նա նշել Է, որ ներկայում Մեծ Բրիտանիան «չի քննարկում իր քաղաքականության փոփոխմանը վերաբերող որեւԷ առաջարկություն»: «Մեր քաղաքականությունն Ուկրաինային ոչ մահաբեր օգնություն ցուցաբերելն Է»,-նշել Է նա:
