ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Պան Գի Մունն այն կարծիքին է, որ ռուս-ուկրաինական սահմանի նկատմամբ անհրաժեշտ է հուսալի հսկողություն ապահովել է: Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, համապատասխան հայտարարությամբ նա հանդես է եկել Բալի կղզում տեղի ունեցած մամուլի ասուլիսում:
ՄԱԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղարը նաև մտահոգություն է հայտնել ուկրաինական բանակի և աշխարհազորայինների միջև մարտական գործողությունների սաստկանալու կապակցությամբ: Նրա կարծիքով՝ ՌԴ-ի և Ուկրաինայի սահմանում ստեղծված իրավիճակը «գլխավոր խոչընդոտն է մնում իրադրության ապաէսկալացման համար, քանի որ զենքը և ծանր սպառազինությունները, ըստ ստացված տվյալների, շարունակում են անարգել կերպով Ռուսաստանից թափանցել Ուկրաինա»: «Առկա է երկու պետությունների միջև սահմանի նկատմամբ հուսալի հսկողություն ապահովելու շտապ անհրաժեշտություն՝ ստուգման միջազգային մեխանիզմի միջոցով, ինչպես քննարկվել էր Մինսկի բանակցություններում»,- ասել է Պան Գի Մունը:
Նա նաև հանդես է եկել հօգուտ այն բանի, որ Ուկրաինայի Գերագույն ռադայի՝ սեպտեմբերի 26-ին նշանակված ընտրությունները «կայանան Ուկրաինայի ամբողջ տարածքում և դառնան միավորող և հաշտեցնող գործոն»: Ինչպես կարծում է Պան Գի Մունը, դա ամբողջ երկրի բնակիչներին թույլ կտա զգալ, որ իրենց շահերը ներկայացված են խորհրդարանում:
Ինչպես արդեն հաղորդվել է, ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդում արգելափակվել է Ուկրաինայի արևելքում հրադադար հաստատելու վերաբերյալ Ռուսաստանի առաջարկը: «Հրադադարի վերաբերյալ Ռուսաստանի պատվիրակության կողմից առաջարկված հայտարարությունն արգելափակվել է անլուրջ պատրվակով»,- նշել է միջազգային կազմակերպությանն առընթեր ՌԴ-ի մշտական ներկայացուցիչ Վիտալի Չուրկինը:
Մեկնաբանելով Ռուսաստանի նախաձեռնությունը՝ ՄԱԿ-ին առընթեր Լիտվայի մշտական ներկայացուցիչ Ռայմոնդա Մուրմոկայտեն հայտարարել է, որ փաստաթղթում հաշվի չեն առնված մի քանի պահեր: Մասնավորապես, նրա կարծիքով, աշխարհազորայինները խոչընդոտել են Կիևից մարդասիրական օգնության մատակարարումներին, հաղորդել է ԻՏԱՌ-ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
