Պատերազմների ծարավ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Բարակ Օբաման, Ուկրաինայում ծավալված պատերազմական գործողությունների հետ կապված, դեռ որոշում է` տրամադրել զենք Ուկրաինային, թե՝ ոչ:
Նկատենք, որ Ուկրաինային զենք տրամադրելու մասին քննարկվող հարցերը մեծ անհանգստության ալիք են բարձրացրել եվրոպական երկրներում: Օբամայի հնարավոր գործողությունների վերաբերյալ, Orer.am-ը զրուցեց ԱԺ ՀՀԿ խմբակցության պատգամավոր, արտաքին հարաբերությունների մշտական հանձնաժողովի անդամ Համլետ Հարությունյանի հետ.
«Չեմ կարծում, որ Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգներն Ուկրաինայի ժողովրդին պաշտպանության համար է զենք տալիս, այլ ընդհակառակը՝ նա տրամադրում է, որպեսզի պատերազմական գործողություններն էսկալացիա անի: Եթե ԱՄՆ-ն ուզի, ապա կարող է ընդհանուր հայտարարի գալ, որովհետեւ Ուկրաինան գործ ունի մոտ տաս միլիոն ռուսների հետ: Կարծում եմ, որ ռուս ժողովրդի սիրտն ավելի շատ է ցավում ուկրաինացիների համար, քան մյուսներինը: Պետք չէ մոռանալ, որ Ուկրաինայում բազմաթիվ խառը ամսունություններ կան ռուսների հետ, իսկ, ընդհանրապես, Ուկրաինայի ձեռագիրը շատ նման է Ադրբեջանի ձեռագրին, այսինքն՝ նրանք եւս սեփական ժողովրդի դեմ են պատերազմ հայտարարել»:
Orer.am-ի այն հարցադրմանը, թե աշխարհի երկու գերհզոր պետությունները, դուրս գալով իրար դեմ, ինչպիսի՞ արդյունքներ կգրանցեն, եւ արդյո՞ք հնարավոր է, որ հարցը խաղաղ կարգավորում ստանա, պատգամավորը նշեց.
«Ես եւ ամբողջ առաջադեմ մարդկությունը դեմ ենք, որ սեփական երկրի ներսում պատերազմական գործողություններով փորձեն լուծել նման հարցերը: Դա նշանակում է, որ տվյալ պետությունը չի կարողանում ապահովել իր ժողովրդի եւ՛ պաշտպանությունը, եւ՛ նրանց կեցության հետագա զարգացումը. հենց այս պարագայում է, որ ժողովուրդը ոտքի է կանգնում: Ինձ թվում է, որ պատերազմական գործողություններով այդ հարցը չի լուծվելու, քանի որ աշխարհի գերհզոր երկու պետություններ ելել են իրար դեմ, մեկը պաշտպանում է ապստամբներին, մյուսը՝ կենտրոնական իշխանությանը: Քանի այդ եկու խոշոր պետություններն իրար հետ համաձայնության չեն եկել, իմ խորին համոզմամբ, Ուկրաինայում կշարունակվեն մարտական գործողությունները:
Այս հարցն, ինչ խոսք, հանգուցալուծում կունենա, սակայն այս ամենի մեջ մեկ բացասական երեւույթ կա՝ բազմաթիվ մարդկային զոհեր: Բոլոր պատերազմներն էլ ի վերջո ունենում են իրենց վախճանը: Մենք շատ հեռու ենք գտնվում գործողությունների էպիկենտրոնից, ուղղակի մարդկայնորեն ցավում եմ խաղաղ ժողովրդի, զոհերի, այդ թվում նաեւ երիտասարդ զինվորների համար: Ամեն օր տասնյակ մարդիկ են վիրավորվում կամ զոհվում: Թե ինչի կհանգեցնի այս կոնֆլիկտը, իհարկե, դժվար է ասել, հնարավոր է նաեւ էսկալացիա, որին կմիջամտեն այլ պետություններ, հնարավոր է նաեւ դրական զարգացում, դրանք են՝ բանակցությունները, որոնց արդյունքում պետությունները կարող են գալ ընդհանուր հայտարարի»:
Եվրոպական պետությունների անհանգստությունը Հ. Հարությունյանը մեկնաբանեց հետևյալ կերպ. « Իհարկե, եվրոպական երկրներին այս հարցը պետք է շատ անհանգստացնի, որովհետեւ նրանք մոտ են կոնֆլիկտին: Եկեք չմոռանանք, որ պատերազմն այնպիսի մի երեւույթ է, որի հետեւանքները շատ դեպքերում պարզապես անկանխատեսելի են. հենց այդ պատճառով է, որ եվրոպական պետությունները խիստ անհանգիստ են: Տեսանք, որ Անգլիան հրաժարվեց զենք մատակարարել Ուկրաինային, իսկ մենք գիտենք, որ այդ երկիրը ԱՄՆ-ի ամենահլու կամակատարն է: ԱՄՆ-ը շատ հեռու է գտնվում պատերազմի օջախից, ինչպես միշտ տվյալ պետությունը դրսից է մատակարարի դեր խաղում: Միացյալ Նահանգները դա անում է քաղաքական իր նպատակներին հասնելու համար: Պետք է նշեմ, որ ամերիկացիներին եւ եվրոպացիներին այս իրադրության մեջ հետաքրքրում են միայն աշխարհաքաղաքական նպատակները, իսկ ուկրաինացիների ապագան, ընդհանրապես, ոչ մեկին չի հուզում»:
