Одному из самых богатых людей страны вменяется систематическая неявка на заседания, планируется проверить его связи с преступным миром и слухи о неуплате налогов.
Президент Армении Серж Саркисян подписал указ о прекращении членства в Совете национальной безопасности председателя оппозиционной партии "Процветающая Армения", одного из самых богатых людей страны Гагика Царукяна за систематическую неявку на заседания, планируется проверить его связи с преступным миром и слухи о неуплате налогов.
На прошлой неделе на конференции общественных сил Царукян выступил с критикой властей, заявив о необходимости сменить их на следующих выборах.
Партия "Процветающая Армения" — умеренная центристская политическая сила с либеральным уклоном — была создана в 2004 году. Председателем партии является Гагик Царукян — депутат парламента, глава Национального Олимпийского комитета, президент концерна Multy Group. В рейтинге самых богатых людей Армении, по различным оценкам, Царукян занимает место в первой тройке. В нынешнем парламенте партия Царукяна имеет вторую по численности фракцию, обладая 36 депутатскими мандатами из 131.
Выступая в четверг вечером на заседании совета правящей Республиканской партии Армении, Саргсян заявил, что считает ошибкой "покровительство" Царукяну. "Высший орган безопасности страны — это не кинотеатр, куда кто когда захочет — придет, а когда не захочет — не придет", — сказал глава государства.
Началось выяснение причин систематического отсутствия Царукяна на заседаниях парламента: из 145 заседаний Национального Собрания Армении в 2013-2014 годах Царукян участвовал лишь в четырех. "Если он настолько пренебрегает ролью своих избирателей и Национального Собрания, мы этого права не имеем… Наши депутаты с завтрашнего дня инициируют шаги, необходимые для выхода из этой абсурдной ситуации", — сказал Саргсян.
Президент обратился к премьер-министру с призывом проверить слухи о неуплате Царукяном налогов в миллиарды драмов. "Я призываю премьер-министра Армении поручить соответствующим органам окончательно и детально проверить достоверность этих слухов и открыто представить всем", — сказал Саргсян.
По его словам, в пятницу также будет проведено заседание Совбеза, где с правоохранительными органами будет обсуждаться вопрос проверки слухов о связи Царукяна с криминальным миром.
