ԼՂ խնդրի կարգավորմամբ զբաղվող ԵԱՀԿ-ի Մինսկի խմբի ամերիկացի համանախագահ դեսպան Ջեյմս Ուորլիքը հարցազրույց է տվել «Թուրան» գործակալությանը՝ անդրադառնալով Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի հակամարտության կարգավորման հեռանկարներին:   Ուորլիքը, մասնավորապես, նշել է, որ Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի նախագահները կարող են հանդիպել Ուելսում անցկացվելիք ՆԱՏՕ-ի գագաթաժողովի շրջանակներում: Նա նկատել է, որ «Հայաստանում և Ադրբեջանում հակամարտությունը ոչ ոք այնքան լավ չի հասկանում, որքան երկու նախագահները». նրանք են որոշումներ կայացնողները, իսկ Մինսկի խմբի առաջադրանքը նախագահներին մերձեցնելն է:   Նախագահների հանդիպման առիթով նա հույս է հայտնել, որ օգոստոսի 10-ին Սոչիում կայացած հանդիպմանը նրանք թերևս կարողացել են «առաջ ընթանալու թեմաներ նախանշել»: Նա նկատել է, որ կողմերը հաստատել են հոկտեմբերի վերջին Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Ֆրանսուա Օլանդի միջնորդությամբ Փարիզում հանդիպելու ցանկությունը:   Սակայն մինչ այդ հնարավոր է նրանց հանդիպումն արդեն հաջորդ շաբաթ Ուելսում ՆԱՏՕ-ի գագաթաժողովի շրջանակներում: Դեսպան Ուորլիքը նշել է, որ դա կախված է արդեն նախագահների պատրաստակամությունից ու ցանկությունից:   Հարցազրույցում նա նշում է նաև, որ «ԱՄՆ-ի պետքարտուղար Ջոն Քերին պատրաստ է անձամբ իր դերը խաղալ հակամարտության կարգավորման հարցում, եթե նրա մասնակցությունը կարող է օգնել կարգավորման հասնելուն»: Այս առիթով նա կողմերին կոչ է արել «լուրջ ընդունել այդ հնարավորությունները»: Ուորլիքը նկատել է, որ հարցը ոչ թե զուտ հանդիպումներ անցկացնելն է, այլ բանակցային գործընթացը նոր մակարդակի բարձրացնելը:
