Ընդդիմադիր պրոպագանդայի գործիքներից մեկը հիշողություն «մոնտաժելու» տեխնոլոգիաներն են՝ երկարատև ուղեղ լվացող քարոզչության միջոցով: Օրինակ` նույն տեխնոլոգիայի կիրառմամբ` ՀԱԿ-ի հետևորդների հիշողությունից ջնջվել է 1996 թվականը, ԲՀԿ-ի ընդդիմադիր համակիրների հիշողությունից՝ 2008-ի մարտի 1-ի հետ կապված որոշ հանգամանքներ և այլն: Արևմտամետների, հատկապես ` ռուսաֆոբ արևմտամետների դեպքում, թիրախը փոխվում է, և արդեն 1 տարվա կամ մի քանի տարիների փոխարեն` իրենց համակիրների հիշողությունից փորձում են ջնջել պատմության մի ամբողջ հատված:
Խոսքս ԽՍՀՄ-ի մասին է, որը մեր պատմության մոտ 70 տարին է, քանի որ մենք եղել ենք այդ պետության մասը` որպես նրա մի մաս կառուցելով և մեծացնելով մեր քաղաքները, գրեթե բոլոր շենքերը, որոնցում այսօր ապրում ենք: Կառուցել ենք տնտեսություն, արդյունաբերություն, գործարաններ, որոնք աշխատել են և գուցե կարող էին շարունակել աշխատել, եթե արդեն Անկախ Հայաստանը չունենար այնպիսի ապաշնորհ ու հանցագործ իշխանություններ, ինչպիսին էր 90-ականներին երկիրն ամբողջությամբ թալանած ՀՀՇ-ական վարչակազմը:
Որպես նույն ԽՍՀՄ-ի անդամ, մեր պապերն ու հայրերը ծառայել են խորհրդային բանակում, ծառայել ոչ թե հանուն ռուսի, այլ հանուն մեզ, որովհետև այդ ժամանակ դա մեր պետությունն էր, մենք նրա մասն էինք կազմում: Եվ այսօր այդ մարդկանց շնորհավորելու օրն է, իրավամբ նրանց, մեր պապերի, հայրերի, ավագ սերնդի տոնն է: Այս օրը խորհրդանիշն է մեր ժողովրդի պատմության 70-ամյա մի հատվածի և այդ հատվածը բացի որոշ բացասական բաներից, մեզ տվել է նաև շատ դրականը, որոնք վերևում թվարկեցի: Ջնջել, մոռանալ՝ նշանակում է ոչ միայն մոռանալ սեփական պատմության մի մասը, այլ նաև դառնալ արևմտամետ քարոզչության զոհ: Այլ բացատրություն ես չեմ կարողանում գտնել սոցիալական ցանցում բարձրացվող այն վայնասունին, թե ինչու մենք պետք է շնորհավորենք այդ տոնի առթիվ ԽՍՀՄ բանակում ծառայածներին:
Իսկ ինչու՞ չպետք է շնորհավորենք: Վերջապես, չէ՞ որ շնորհավորելով` մեր անկախությունը ո'չ ավելանում է, ո'չ էլ պակասում: Հարգելիներս, անկախ լինելն ու ռուսաֆոբիայի սովորական դրսևորումը տարբեր բաներ են: Օրինակ, Պարույր Հայրիկյանն էլ է «անկախական», Եվրամիության դրոշը գրկած դուրս է գալիս փողոց և «անկախություն» գոռում: Զավեշտալի է, չէ: Պետք չի ամեն ինչ վերածել զավեշտի:
