Հայաստանի ներքաղաքական վերջին իրադարձություններն ու Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի կապիտուլյացիան ակտուալացրել են ընդդիմության խնդրի քննարկումները: Դաշտում առկա ընդդիմադիր ուժերը թեժ պայքար են մղում այդ տեղի համար, որը դրսեւորվեց անցած երկու օրերին խորհրդարանի դահլիճում, երբ ընդդիմադիր ՀԱԿ-ի ներկայացրած՝ երկրում առկա կառավարման ճգնաժամի վերաբերյալ օրենքի քննարկումը վերածվեց ընդդիմության ճգնաժամի քննարկմանը, եւ ոչ իշխանական մի շարք պատգամավորներ ՀԱԿ-ին մեղադրեցին նման ճգնաժամ ապրելու մեջ՝ կոչ անելով մաքրվել դաշտից: Ընդդիմադիր ասպարեզից ԲՀԿ-ի վտարումից հատկապես ոգեւորվել են ՕԵԿ-ականները, որոնք հույս ունեն մեկ անգամ եւս «գործուղվել» ընդդիմադիր դաշտ եւ իրենց ակտիվ կեցվածքով ու խորհրդարանական բուռն գործունեությամբ ցույց են տալիս, որ միշտ պատրաստ դիրքերում են:

- Գիտեք ինչ, ընդդիմությունը փակ կաբինետ չի, այսինքն՝ յուրաքանչյուր քաղաքական ուժ, ով հռչակում է իր ընդդիմադիր գործունեության մասին, ընդդիմադիր դաշտում գործունեություն է ծավալում, շարունակելու է ծավալել: Ուղղակի այդ եռյակը, որն առաջ նաեւ քառյակ էր, դա ընդամենը ընդդիմադիր ուժերի համագործակցության ֆորմատ էր:
- Նկատի ունեմ՝ դառնալ հասարակության համար ընդունելի ընդդիմություն, որը կարող է այդ դաշտի թելադրողը լինել:
- Ես չգիտեմ ով է այդպես ասել՝ թելադրող կամ չգիտեմ ինչ, բայց ես մեր մասով կարող եմ ասել, որ մենք միշտ գործել ենք մեր սեփական ծրագրերն առաջ մղելու սկզբունքով, որի ականատեսն է եղել ժողովուրդը, այնպես որ, խնդիր չեմ տեսնում:

- Իմ պատկերացումներով, ընդդիմությունը ոչ թե տեղեր զբաղեցնելով է, այլ էսօր յուրաքանչյուր մարդ, ուժ ունի իր քաղաքականությունը, իր ռազմավարությունը, իր օրակարգը: Մենք ունենք մեր օրակարգը եւ շարունակելու ենք մեր օրակարգը:

- Գիտեք, ես չեմ ուզում համեմատականներ անցկացնել: 2006 թվականին, երբ ՕԵԿ-ը դուրս եկավ ընդդիմություն, եւ Արթուր Բաղդասարյանը լքեց երկրի երկրորդ պաշտոնը, եւ երկար տարիներ ընդդիմադիր գործունեություն ծավալելուց հետո մենք 2008-ի նախագահական ընտրություններին անդրադարձանք, մենք չմասնակցեցինք անցած ընտրություններին, բայց բազմիցս ասել ենք, որ մասնակցելու ենք 2018թ. ընտրություններին՝ ի դեմս Արթուր Բաղդասարյանի:
