Վրաստանի վարչապետ Իրակլի Ղարիբաշվիլին այն կարծիքին է, որ ազգային արժույթի՝ լարիի փոխարժեքի անկման շուրջ արհեստական հիստերիա է ստեղծվել, և հայտարարում է, որ կառավարությունն անհրաժեշտ միջոցներ է ձեռնարկում իրադրությունը կայունացնելու համար: Այդ մասին, ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով «Նովոստի Գրուզիա»-ին, կառավարության ղեկավարը հայտարարել է փետրվարի 26-ի երեկոյան մամուլի համար արված հայտարարության մեջ:
«Կառավարությունը մոբիլիզացված է: Մենք սերտ կապի մեջ ենք Ազգային բանկի հետ, և ես կարծում եմ, որ հիստերիկան իրոք արհեստականորեն է ստեղծվել, դա հատկապես վերաբերում է ԶԼՄ-ներին: Մեզ անհրաժեշտ է հանգստացնել, նորմալացնել ու կայունացնել իրադրությունը: Ցանկանում եմ ասել, որ մենք ամեն ինչ կանենք, որպեսզի վիճակը շտկենք հնարավորինս արագ»,- հայտարարել է Ղարիբաշվիլին:
Փետրվարի 26-ին ավելի վաղ Վրաստանի նախկին վարչապետ, միլիարդատեր Բիձինա Իվանիշվիլին տարածել է հատուկ հայտարարություն, որում Ազգային բանկի նախագահ Գեորգի Կադագիձեին մեղադրել է անգործության մեջ, ինչը հանգեցրել է «ազգային արժույթի ճգնաժամին»: Նրա խոսքով՝ բոլոր օբյեկտիվ գործոնների հաշվառմամբ լարիի փոխարժեքը չպետք է գերազանցի ԱՄՆ-ի մեկ դոլարի դիմաց երկու լարին, և Ազգային բանկի նախագահը պետք է «համարժեք քայլեր» ձեռնարկի:
Լարիի կտրուկ անկման կապակցությամբ Վրաստանի երեք ընդդիմադիր կուսակցությունների ներկայացուցիչները Թբիլիսիում բողոքի ակցիա են անցկացրել ֆինանսների նախարարության շենքի մոտ և պահանջել նախարար Նոդար Խադուրիի հրաժարականը: «Մեր առաջին պահանջը ֆինանսների նախարարի հրաժարականն է: Ոչ մի արժութային հիմնադրամ: Թող Բիձինա Իվանիշվիլին խոստացված միլիոնները ներդնի Վրաստանի տնտեսության մեջ, և այդ խնդիրները կլուծվեն: Թող նախարարը կոնկրետ ասի՝ երբ է լարին վերադառնալու նախկին փոխարժեքին»,- լրագրողներին հայտարարել է «Ազատ Վրաստան» կուսակցության անդամ Բեժան Գունավան:
Իր հերթին Վրաստանի նախագահ Գեորգի Մարգվելաշվիլին լրագրողներին հայտարարել է, թե անհրաժեշտ է մշակել ծրագիր, որը երկրին կօգնի արագորեն դուրս գալ ազգային արժույթի անկման հետևանքով ստեղծված իրադրությունից: «Մենք իրազեկ շատ անձանցից մանրակրկիտ լսեցինք ստեղծված իրադրության վերլուծությունը: Այժմ սպասում ենք, որ կլսենք այդ իրադրությունից արդյունավետորեն դուրս գալու պլանի մասին: Այդ վերլուծության մեջ մենք տեսնում ենք, թե ինչ գործոններ են պայմանավորել լարիի փոխարժեքի անկումը: Այսօր մեզ հետաքրքրում է, թե ինչպես ենք դուրս գալու այդ իրավիճակից»,- ասել է Մարգվելաշվիլին:
ԱՄՆ-ի դոլարի նկատմամբ լարիի փոխարժեքն սկսել է ակտիվորեն նվազել անցյալ տարվա նոյեմբերի 20-ից և վերջին սակարկությունների արդյունքում հաստատվել է 1 դոլարի դիմաց 2,2635 լարիի նշագծին: Մինչ այդ Վրաստանի ազգային արժույթի փոխարժեքը եղել է 1 դոլարի դիմաց 1,74-1,76 լարի:
