Պաշտոնական այցով Հայաստանում է Իրաքի Հանրապետության տրանսպորտի նախարար Բաքիր Ջաբեր Ալ-Զուբաիդիին և նրա գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը, ովքեր Երևան էին ժամանել փետրվարի 26-ին առաջին անգամ կայացած Բաղդադ-Երևան-Էրբիլ ուղիղ չվերթով: Փետրվարի 27-ի առավոտյան ՀՀ տրանսպորտի և կապի նախարարության ներկայացուցիչների ուղեկցությամբ պատվիրակությունը եղավ Ծիծեռնակաբերդի բարձունքում, ծաղիկներ դրեց Մեծ եղեռնի զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող հուշահամալիրին և մեկ րոպե լռությամբ հարգեց 20-րդ դարի առաջին ցեղասպանության անմեղ զոհերի հիշատակը:
Պատվիրակությունն այցելեց նաև Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտ, ծանոթացավ ցուցադրված նյութերին:
 Այնուհետ, ՀՀ տրանսպորտի և կապի նախարարությունում, Իրաքի Հանրապետության տրանսպորտի նախարար Բաքիր Ջաբե Ալ-Զուբաիդիի գլխավորած պատվիրակությանն ընդունեց ՀՀ տրանսպորտի և կապի նախարար Գագիկ Բեգլարյանը:
Ողջունելով բարձրաստիճան հյուրերին՝ նախարարը կարևորեց իրաքցի գործընկերոջ այցը Հայաստան՝ Բաղդադ-Երևան-Էրբիլ ուղիղ չվերթով, որպես տրանսպորտի ոլորտում հայ-իրաքյան հարաբերությունների զարգացման և ամրապնդման կարևոր քայլ:
Շնորհակալություն հայտնելով Գագիկ Բեգլարյանին ջերմ ընդունելության համար՝ Իրաքի Հանրապետության տրանսպորտի նախարար Բաքիր Ջաբեր Ալ-Զուբաիդին շեշտեց, որ Բաղդադ-Երևան-Էրբիլ ուղիղ չվերթի մեկնարկով նոր հնարավորություններ են բացվում երկու երկրների առևտրաշրջանառության, ուղևորափոխադրումների և գործընկերային հարաբերությունների զարգացման համար: Հանդիպմանը հաջորդած առանձնազրույցից հետո երկու երկրների նախարարները պատասխանեցին լրագրողների հարցերին:
