Ադրբեջանում կոչեր են հնչում հունիսին Բաքվում անցկացվելիք առաջին Եվրոպական խաղերից հրաժարվելու մասին, որի վրա այդ երկիրը 8 մլրդ դոլար է ծախսել:
Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, ադրբեջանցի քաղաքական- հասարակական գործիչների կարծիքով' մանաթի կտրուկ էժանացման, երկրի տնտեսության' լուրջ խնդիրների առաջ կանգնած լինելու, համաշխարհային շուկայում նավթի գնի զգալի անկման պայմաններում հունիսին Բաքվում անցկացվելիք Եվրոխաղերին մասնակից 50 երկրների հավաքականների տրանսպորտային և մյուս բոլոր ծախսերը կառավարության կողմից ստանձնելը տնտեսական տեսակետից' երկրի վրա շատ թանկ նստող և սխալ որոշում է:
Ադրբեջանական Hurriyyet թերթին տված հարցազրույցում Ադրբեջանի դեմոկրատական կուսակցության նախագահ Սարդար Ջալալօղլուն այդ առնչությամբ ասել է, որ «դա սխալ որոշում է, և պարտադիր կերպով, անմիջապես պետք է փոխվի:
«Բոլորը գիտեն, որ այդ խաղերն անցկացնելու համար ադրբեջանական կողմը մեծ ֆինանսական միջոցներ է ծախսել: Այսօր աշխարհում և Ադրբեջանում տնտեսական լուրջ խնդիր է ծագել: Այժմ Ադրբեջանը հարկադրված է համաձայնվել կամ չեղյալ համարել, կամ էլ հետաձգել այդ խաղերը: Քանի որ այն եկամուտները, որոնք ակնկալվում էին թեկուզ մասնակիորեն փակելու կատարված ծախսերը' խաղերը դիտելու եկող զբոսաշրջիկների հաշվին, ճգնաժամի պատճառով չեն լինելու» -ասել է նա:
Ս. Ջալալօղլուի համոզմամբ' հակառակ դեպքում, Ադրբեջանը կրկնակի կորուստեր է կրելու, և հայտնվելու է ճահճում:
Նրա խոսքով' քանի որ Ադրբեջանը խոստացել է վճարել խաղերին մասնակցելու հայտ ներկայացրած երկրների հավաքականների բոլոր ծախսերը, ապա պետք է պահանջի փոխհատուցել մրցույթին չմասնակցող երկրների համար կատարած ծախսերի դիմաց:
«Եթե որևէ երկրի ներկայացուցիչներ մրցույթին չմասնակցեն, ապա այդ երկրները պետք է փոխհատուցում վճարեն Ադրբեջանին: Եթե վիճակը շարունակվի այնպես, ինչպես հիմա է, և շատ երկրներ չմասնակցեն խաղերին, ապա Ադրբեջանը պետք է այդ երկրներից պահանջի փոխհատուցել նրանց համար իր կատարած ծախսերը: Հակառակ դեպքում' Ադրբեջանը կրկնակի ֆինանսական կորուստներ կկրի», -ասել է նա:
VIP կուսակցության առաջնորդ Ալի Ալիևը բողոք է հայտնել մասնակից հավաքականների ծախսերը փոխհատուցելու Բաքվի որոշման դեմ: Նա ասել է, որ կառավարության այդ որոշումը ճիշտ չի համարում, և «քանի ուշ չէ, այն պետք է փոխվի»:
Եվրոխաղերի վրա Ադրբեջանի կողմից 8 մլրդ դոլար ծախսվելու մասին հայտնել է bne.eu լրատվական կայքը: Եվրոպական խաղերի օպերացիոն կոմիտեի տնօրեն Սայմոն Կլեգգը կայքին հայտնել է, որ դա լինելու է Ադրբեջանում ամենամասշտաբային և հանդիսադիր միջոցառումը: «Չնայած նման մասշտաբային միջոցառման կազմակերպման համար եղած չափազանց կարճ ժամանակին և դժվարոթյուններին, աշխատանքները գործնականում ավարտված են, և Բաքուն պատրաստ է ընդունել եվրոպացի մարզիկներին ու զբոսաշրջիկներին», -ասել է Կլեգգը:-
