Քաղաքական ինտրիգներ, որոնց հանգուցալուծումը սովորաբար ավարտվում է մեծ հիասթափությամբ: Հիասթափվում է ոչ միայն հասարակությունը, որը մշտապես ինչ-որ հույսեր է կապում, այսպես կոչված, ընդդիմադիր ուժերի հետ, այլ նաեւ քաղաքական դաշտում գործող այլ ուժերի ներկայացուցիչները:Orer.am-ի հետ զրույցում ԱԺ ՀՅԴ խմբակցության ղեկավար Արմեն Ռուստամյանը հայտնեց, որ այն, ինչ այսօրվա դրությամբ տեղի է ունենում քաղաքական դաշտում, պարզապես անհասկանալի է. «Ես չեմ պատկերացնում, որ քաղաքական դաշտում հնարավոր է, որ մեկ օրում այնպիսի շրջադարձային խիստ փոփոխություններ տեղի ունենան, որ տվյալ ուժը 180 աստիճանով հակառակվի մինչ այդ հայտարարած իր փաստերին եւ մոտեցումներին»:
Այն հարցին, թե արդյո՞ք ոչ իշխանական ուժերի նախկին ներկայացուցիչը նկատի ունի ԲՀԿ-ին, Ա. Ռուստամյանը պատասխանեց. «Դա վերաբերում է ոչ միայն «Բարգավաճ Հայաստան» կուսակցությանը, այլ նաեւ` մնացածներին: Ես պարտավոր չեմ նշել անուններ, բայց, եթե մի քաղաքական ուժ, որն իր այսօրվա ասածը վաղը հերքում է եւ դրա հետ հաշվի չի նստում, մասնավորապես, խորհրդարանական համակարգին անցնելու վերաբերյալ, դա արդեն լավ չէ»:
Խոսելով ներքաղաքական վերջին զարգացումների շուրջ, անդրադառնալով նաեւ ՀՀ առաջին նախագահ Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի բաց նամակին եւ ՀՀ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանի հետ հանդիպումից հրաժարվելուն՝ Արմեն Ռուստամյանը նշեց. «Դուք ինքներդ պետք է գնահատեք տեղի ունեցածը: Իմ կարծիքով՝ լուրջ չէ, երբ ցանկանում ես մարդու հետ հանդիպել, որից հետո դրական արձագանք ստանալու դեպքում հրաժարվում ես այդ հանդիպումից. անհասկանալի է, թե իրականում ի՞նչ նպատակ էին հետապնդում Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանի այս քայլերը: Կարծում եմ, որ Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանը պարզապես չի ցանկանում ընդունել քաղաքական իր ձախողումները: Դրանց թվին են պատկանում նաեւ այն իրադարձությունները, որոնք մենք հիմա տեսնում ենք, խոսքս քաղաքական «եռյակի» փլուզման մասին է»:
Խոսելով քաղաքական «եռյակի» փլուզման եւ ՀՀ առաջին նախագահի քաղաքական ձախողումների մասին՝ Ա. Ռուստամյանը նաեւ անդրադարձավ, ինչպես Լեւոն Տեր-Պետրոսյանն էր նշել, ԲՀԿ-ի շարքերը համալրած խառնակիչներն. «Եթե ես նկատած լինեի, որ «Բարգավաճ Հայաստանում» խառնակիչներ կան, ժամանակին այդ մասին կասեի»:
