ԲՀԿ արտահերթ համագումարից հետո արդեն ԲՀԿ ղեկավար Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանը լրագրողների հետ զրույցում ասաց, որ ԲՀԿ-ին ժամանակ է պետք, քանի որ հարցեր կան, որ դեռևս պետք է քննարկվեն:
Նա նշեց նաև, որ ակտիվ քաղաքականությունից հեռանալը եղել է Ծառուկյանի անձնական որոշումը: Որպես կուսակցության նախագահ՝ Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանի թեկնածությանը ձեռնպահ քվեարկել է միայն պատգամավոր Լյովա Խաչատրյանը:
«ԲՀԿ-ն հայտարարվեց ընդդիմություն, ես ԱԺ-ում կկրկնեմ, որ ԲՀԿ-ն ընդդիմություն է, մեզ որոշակի ժամանակ է պետք, որովհետև մենք բոլորս էլ հասկանում ենք, որ ժողովրդին ծառայելու մեր հիմնական գաղափարը դնելով հիմքում՝ պետք է մշակենք նոր ճանապարհային քարտեզ, մենք հապճեպ քայլեր չենք անելու, հապճեպ որոշումներ չենք անելու: Հարցեր կան, որոնց պատասխանները մենք դեռ չունենք»,- ասաց Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանը:
Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանը տեղեկացրեց նաև, որ Ծառուկյանի մանդատի հարցը կքննարկվի խմբակցության նիստում, ինքն էլ, որպես ԲՀԿ խմբակցության քարտուղար, պարբերաբար Գալուստ Սահակյանին ներկայացրել է բացակայությունների տեղեկանքներ, դրանք բոլորը համարվել են հարգելի:
Ինչ վերաբերում է Վարդան Օսկանյանին, Զոհրաբյանն ասաց, որ նա կուսակցությունից հեռանալու դիմում ներկայացրել է, բայց մանդատը վայր չի դնելու:
Հարցին, թե արդյոք Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի նկատմամբ եղե՞լ են սպառնալիքներ, Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանը խուսափեց պատասխանելուց` ժամանակ խնդրելով:
