ան մասին Հայոց ցեղասպանության տարելիցի օրը' ապրիլի 24-ին, Թուրքիայում ծրագրավորված Գալիպոլիի տոնակատարությունները մինչ օրս որևէ թափ չեն ստացել: Ավելին, Չանաքքալեի քաղաքապետ Ուլգյուր Գյոքհանը հայտարարել է, որ նախապատրաստական աշխատանքները լավ չեն ընթանում: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»- ը, այս մասին հաղորդում է «Ջիհան»-ը' Today’s Zaman-ին հղումով:
Հոդվածում նշվում է, որ թեպետ մոտենում է Գալիպոլիի մարտերի հարյուրամյակը, իսկ դեռ երեք տարի առաջ Չանաքքալեի նահանգապետարանում հիմնվել էր այդ աշխատանքները համակարգող կոորդինացիոն կենտրոն, այդուհանդերձ որևէ հստակ դիրքորոշում՝ կապված հարյուրերորդ տարվա տոնական միջոցառումների հետ, դեռևս չի կայացվել: Պարբերականը գրում է, որ Գալիպոլիի տոնակատարություններին հրավիրված տերությունների ներկայացուցիչներից շատ քչերն են այն ընդունել:
Ուլգյուր Գյոքհանը հայտնել է, որ իրենց ծրագրերի առաջընթացը կասեցվել է: «Հարյուրերորդ տարվան նվիրված աշխատանքները լավ չեն ընթանում: Մենք չունենք ո’չ անձնակազմ, ո’չ էլ բյուջե: Մենք փորձում ենք դրանք իրականացնել մեր սեփական միջոցներով, սակայն միջոցները բավարար չեն»,- ասել է Չանաքքալեի քաղաքապետը:
Ավելի վաղ ևս թուրքական «Զամանը» հոդված էր հրապարակել այն մասին, որ Ցեղասպանության տարելիցի օրը ծրագրավորված Չանաքքալեի միջոցառումները չեղարկվել են: Հենվելով չբացահայտված աղբյուրի հաղորդած տվյալների վրա' հրապարակվել էր, որ բոլոր հրավիրյալները մեծամասամբ հրաժարվել են ներկա գտնվել Գալիպոլիի միջոցառումներին:
Այս լուրը, սակայն, անմիջապես հերքվեց Թուրքիայի ԱԳՆ-ի կողմից: Պաշտոնական Անկարան հայտարարեց, որ արարողությունները ծրագրավորվածի պես շարունակվելու են:
