Ժուռնալիստների «Ասպարեզ» ակումբի նախագահ Լևոն Բարսեղյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.
«Բալասանյանի՝ ԲՀԿ-ից հրաժարման պատճառաբանությունը ավելի քան խայտառակ է, քան բուն հրաժարման փաստը. իր հրաժարումը կապում է Ծառուկյանի հրաժարման հետ, եւ ոչ թե կուսակցության գաղափարների կամ ծրագրի հետ ծագած ինչ-ինչ անհամատեղելի հանգամանքների։ Այլ խոսքով, եթե իր հավանած մարդը վաղը ալկոհոլի դեմ պայքարի կուսակցություն ստեղծի, մեկ էլ տեսար՝ գնաց մտավ այդ կուսակցություն։

Երեւի հետո կսկսեն պատմել պատերի տակ, թե Ծառուկյանն ինքն է Բալասանյանի ապահովության համար առաջարկել ելնել
