ՀՀԿ-ն հարգում է Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի ակտիվ քաղաքականությունից հեռանալու որոշումը: Այս մասին ՀՀԿ գործադիր մարմնի նիստի ավարտից հետո հայտնեց ՀՀ ԱԺ փոխնախագահ, ՀՀԿ խոսնակ Էդուարդ Շարմազանովը: «Ես ընթերցել եմ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանի ելույթը: Նա ներկայացրել է պատճառները, թե ինչու է նման որոշում կայացրել, և մենք հարգում ենք այդ որոշումը: Դա նրա անձնական որոշումն է եղել, և ես այստեղ ավելացնելու բան չունեմ»,- «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ նշեց Շարմազանովը:
ՀՀԿ խոսնակն անդրադարձավ նաև այն հանգամանքին, որ ԲՀԿ նոր ղեկավար Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանը հայտարարել է ԲՀԿ-ի՝ ընդդիմադիր լինելու մասին: «Ես կարծում եմ, որ քաղաքական դաշտում պետք է հստակ տարբերություն լինի: Պետք է լինի իշխանություն և ընդդիմություն: Այլըւնտրանք տերմինն ինձ համար անհասկանալի էր, որովհետև քաղաքագիտության մեջ նման տերմին չկա: Հիմա թե ինչ մարտավարություն կընտրի ԲՀԿ-ն, իրենց որոշելիքն է, և մենք այստեղ միջամտելու խնդիր չունենք: Մենք պատրաստ ենք համագործակցել բոլոր այն քաղաքական ուժերի հետ, որոնք պատրաստ են ոչ թե միայն քննադատե լ, այլ նաև առաջարկներ ներկայացնել, որոնք կառուցողական են: Թե ինչ կլինի հետագայում' կապրենք, կտեսնենք»,- մանրամասնեց Շարմազանովը:
Նա նաև նշեց, որ մեկ օրվա ընթացքում ոչ մի քաղաքակական ուժ ընդդիմություն չի դառնում: Շարմազանովի գնահատմամբ՝ նախկինում ԲՀԿ-ն այլ կուսակցություն էր, իսկ հիմա' այլ, քանի որ ունի նոր ղեկավար, պետք է դեռևս հստակեցնի իր մարտավարությունը:
ՀՀԿ խոսնակն ընդգծեց նաև, որ Հայաստանի ամենաազդեցիկ քաղաքական և գաղափարական կուսակցությունը Հանրապետական կուսակցությունն է: Նա կարծիք հայտնեց, որ առաջիկա խորհրդարանական ընտրություններում առաջատար կլինի ՀՀԿ-ն: «Ես այս պահին չեմ տեսնում առավել կուռ, կառուցողական քաղաքական ուժ, քան ՀՀԿ-ն է: Սակայն մենք հարգում ենք մեր քաղաքական բոլոր հակառակորդներին: Ես չեմ ցանկանում ընտրություններից երկու տարի առաջ ենթադրություններ անել: Ի վերջո, լինելու է այնպես, ինչպես որոշելու է ժողովուրդը»,- շեշտեց Շարմազանովը՝ հավելելով, որ բոլոր ք աղաքական ուժերին հաջողություն է մաղթում:
ԲՀԿ մարտի 5-ին կայացած համագումարի ընթացքում ԲՀԿ հիմնադիր Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը հայտարարել է կուսակցության նախագահի և ԱԺ ԲՀԿ խմբակցության ղեկավարի լիազորությունները դադարեցնելու մասին: ԲՀԿ ղեկավարի պարտականություններն ստանձնել է Նաիրա Զոհրաբյանը:
