Ինչպես և կանխատեսվել էր, Վարդան Օսկանյանը լքեց նաև ԲՀԿ-ն, հետևաբար լքեց Հայաստանի քաղաքական դաշտը: Մեր քաղաքական դաշտի համար այս կորուստը ես կգնահատեմ 0, որովհետև, վերջին հաշվով, մենք, Օսկանյանին կորցնելով, ոչինչ չկորցրեցինք, այլ միայն շահեցինք:
Շահեցինք այնքանով, որ հեռացավ Քոչարյանի հետդարձի ճանապարհը հարթողներից ևս մեկը, այսինքն՝ փակվեց այդ ճանապարհը:Իսկ Քոչարյանի հետդարձը ես կհամարեի մեզ սպառնացող ամենամեծ վտանգներից մեկը:
Մեր քաղաքական դաշտը կորցրեց նաև մոլի արևմտամետ կողմնորոշում ունեցող մեկին, ինչը նույնպես դրական երևույթ եմ համարում: Առավել հետաքրքիր են իր հեռանալու մասին Օսկանյանի հայտարարությունները: Իսկ Օսկանյանն իր հայտարարության մեջ ասել է, թե իբրև իր՝ կուսակցությունը լքելու նպատակն այն էր, որ «կուսակցությունը չկարողացավ իրականացնել հայ ժողովրդի… բացարձակ մեծամասնության ցանկությունը՝ այս փուլում արմատական փոփոխություններ իրականացնելու և երկիրը ոչ միայն ծանր վիճակից դուրս բերելու, այլև զարգացման ճիշտ և առողջ ճանապարհի վրա դնելու»:
Այսինքն՝ ստացվում է, որ զարգացման ճիշտ և առողջ ճանապարհի վրա դնողն ինքն էր, բայց իրեն չթողեցի՞ն: Հետաքրքիր է, այդ ի՞նչ «ճանապարհի վրա» դնելու մասին է խոսքը, երբ որ Օսկանյանին ավելի շատ հետաքրքրել են «գծի վրա» դնելու պահերը. ինչպես հիշում ենք Լևոն Զուրաբյանի հետ նրա հայտնի սրճարանային զրույցից: Ստացվում է նաև, որ ժողովրդի «բացարձակ մեծամասնությունը» Օսկանյանի «ֆանատներն» էին, բայց երևի իրենք էլ չգիտեին այդ մասին, և հենց Օսկանյանին էին տեսնում իրենց փրկչի դերում: Նաև պարզվում է, որ «մեծամասնությունը» տենչում էր արմատական փոփոխություններ՝ պայմանավորված Քոչարյանի վերադարձով, կամ էլ, միգուցե, այդ «բացարձակ մեծամասնությունը» հենց Օսկանյանի՞ն էր տենչում տեսնել որպես երկրի նախագահ…
Ահա այսպիսի հետաքրքիր բաներ են կատարվել մեր շուրջը, իսկ մենք տեղյակ էլ չէինք: Հետ ենք մնացել կյանքից: Ոչ միայն հետ ենք մնացել, այլ նաև չենք գնահատում մեր ազգի արժանավոր զավակներին, նրանք էլ վիրավորվում են ու լքում քաղաքական դաշտը, հետո էլ՝ երկիրը, հետո մի օր էլ, միգուցե, նրանցից ոմանք վիրավորված մնալով դառնան «վտարանդի»: Բայց դա արդեն ուրիշ «կինոյից» է:
