Մարտի 9-ին Թբիլիսիում կայացել է Վրաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Թամարա Բերուչաշվիլիի հանդիպումը ԵԱՀԿ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Լամբերտո Զանիերի հետ, կողմերը քննարկել են Ռուսաստանի գործողություններն Աբխազիայի և Հարավային Օսիայի նկատմամբ, տեղեկացնում է «Արմենպրես»-ը՝ հղում անելով «Նովոստի Գրուզիային»:
«Հանդիպմանն ուշադրությունը դարձվել է Ռուսաստանի կողմից օկուպացիոն ռեժիմի ներկայացուցիչների հետ այսպես կոչված պայմանագրերի ստորագրման հարցերին: Ես մեկ անգամ ևս նշեցի, որ Ռուսաստանի այդ գործողությունները հակասում են միջազգային իրավունքի նորմերին ու սկզբունքներին... Ակներև է, որ այսպես կոչված պայմանագրերի կնքումն ուղղված է Վրաստանի ինքնիշխանության և տարածքային ամբողջականության դեմ և բռնազավթված տարածքների բռնակցմանն ուղղված քայլ է»,- հայտարարել է Բերուչաշվիլին:
Ռուսաստանը և Հարավային Օսիայի իշխանությունները փետրվարի 18-ին պայմանագիր են ստորագրել «Պետական սահմանի մասին»: Ավելի վաղ՝ հունվարի 23-ին, ՌԴ-ի Պետդուման վավերացրել է Աբխազիայի հետ Ռուսաստանի «դաշնակցության և ռազմավարական գործընկերության մասին» պայմանագիրը, որն ստորագրվել է 2014 թվականի նոյեմբերին: Բացի այդ, ՌԴ-ի իշխանությունները մտադիր են «դաշնակցության և ինտեգրացման մասին» պայմանագիր կնքել Ցխինվալի հետ:
