«Հարթակ»-ը գրում է.
«Այն, ինչի ես ականատես եղա երկու օր առաջ, կարելի է ասել՝ վեր էր ամեն տեսակի երևակայություններից: Դպրոցական ընկերներիցս մեկը, ով աշխատում է երևանյան էլիտար գիշերային ակումբներից մեկում, իմանալով, որ լրագրող եմ, անսպասելի առաջարկ արեց՝ գաղտնի մտցնել ակումբ, որպեսզի իմ աչքով տեսնեմ, թե ինչ է այդտեղ կատարվում իրականում: Բնական է՝ խոստացա, որ ակումբի անունը չեմ հրապարակելու՝ վերջինիս համար դա կարող էր շատ վատ ավարտվել՝ ընդհուպ մինչև աշխատանքից ազատում։
Պարզվում է` Հայաստանում կան ակումբներ, որտեղ մուտք գործելը, մեղմ ասած, կատակ բան չէ: Եթե մեկ անգամ հայտնվեցիր փակ ակումբից ներս, ապա երկար ժամանակ ու շատ բան կունենաս հիշելու: Այն, ինչ տեսանք, մեղմ ասած, սարսափելի էր: Փաստորեն, այստեղ 40-60 տարեկանին մոտ 30-40 կին այդ ակումբի պատվավոր անդամ են հանդիսանում և այնտեղ որոշումներ կայացնում: Հենց նրանք են ընտրում երիտասարդ ուսանող տղաներին, որոնց անուններն ակումբ մուտք գործելու համար նախ և առաջ պետք է հայտնվի ցուցակում: Զարմանալի ժամանակներում ու ոչ պակաս զարմանալի շրջապատում այսօր հայ կանայք իրենց երեխաներին դաստիարակելու փոխարեն «լիցքաթափվում» են իրենց երեխաների հասակակիցների հետ: Այնքան է ամեն բան արժեզրկվել, որ կեսօրին կոկիկ հագած, կիրթ խոսող ու բարձրաշխարհիկ կյանքով ապրող կանայք գիշերը երկուսից հետո դառնում են վուլգար, շարքային, հասարակ, թեթևաբարո ու կյանքը վայելող իգական սեռի ներկայացուցիչներ:
Կարելի է ասել՝ հայ կանայք կամաց-կամաց օտարանում են ու կորցնում իրենց հայեցիությունը: Ու հենց այստեղից էլ ծագում են մյուս բոլոր խնդիրները և պարզ են դառնում շատ հարցերի պատասխաններ: Մի խումբ կանայք, ովքեր սուրճի սեղանի շուրջ փոխանակ քննարկեին կարևոր հարցեր, թեկուզ՝ բրազիլական սերիալի հերթական սերիան, այսօր ալկոհոլով բաժակների, ծխախոտի ծխի ու երիտասարդ տղաների ընկերակցությամբ բարձր ծիծաղում էին, գռեհիկ խոսում ու ցենզուրայից դուրս հումորներ անում: Ներսում գտնվելու և այնտեղից հեռանալու մասին միտքն անդադար պտտվում էր գլխումս: Որքան էլ փորձեմ հասարակ հայերենով նկարագրել այն, ինչ կատարվում է Երևանի սրտում, ակումբի դռներից ներս, մեկ է՝ այդքան գունավոր չեք կարողանա պատկերացնել: Դա պետք է տեսնել սեփական աչքերով: Հրեշտակի թևերով, բարի հայացքով գեղեցիկ կանայք մի քանի վայրկյանում փոխվել ու անճանաչելի էին դարձել: Անճանաչելի այն աստիճան, որ պարզապես տհաճ էր այդ տեսարանին կողքից հետևելը: Տհաճ էր հասկանալ, որ քո վրա նրանք կարող են խաղադրույք անել ու սպասել վերջնական արդյունքի: Մի բան հստակ է ու պարզ. 21-րդ դարում իսկապես ամեն բան այլ է: Զարմանալի է, թե ոնց են այդ կանայք կարողանում մի քանի ժամվա մեջ փոխել իրենց դիմակները»։
