Ամիսներ առաջ հրավեր էի ստացել Սփյուռքի մեր կարևոր և հայաշատ համայնքներից մեկի՝ Հայոց ցեղասպանության 100-րդ տարելիցի կազմակերպչական հանձնախմբի կողմից՝ այս տարվա ապրիլին իրենց գլխավոր միջոցառմանը ելույթ ունենալու համար:
Միջոցառումը տեղի է ունենալու այդ երկրի մայրաքաղաքի գլխավոր տաճարում, որտեղ սպասվում է հազարից ավելի մարդու ներկայություն: Նախատեսված է, որ միջոցառմանը ելույթ են ունենալու այդ երկրի պետական այրերը:
Ես սիրով համաձայնել էի մասնակցել:
Մի քանի օր առաջ զանգ ստացա կազմակերպիչներից: Նրանք տեղեկացրին, որ այդ երկրում Հայաստանի դեսպանությունն առարկել է իմ մասնակցությանը: Համայնքի ներկայացուցիչները, փորձելով հակառակը համոզել դեսպանությանը, ի վերջո չեն ցանկացել հակադրվել ու լարվածություն ստեղծել և ընդառաջել են նրանց պահանջին:
Այստեղ հարցը բոլորովին իմ անձը չէ: Հարցը այս մտածողության և գործելաոճի սնանկությունն է:
Ցեղասպանությունը, հատկապես 100-րդ տարելիցի միջոցառումները, համազգային խնդիր է, և որևէ իշխանության, անձի կամ անձանց խմբի սեփականությունը չէ:
Մեր խնդիրն է, հատկապես այս տարի, լավագույնս ներկայացնել մեր երկիրը, դատը օտարներին ու միջազգային հանրությանը:
Թերևս կհամաձայնեք ինձ հետ, որ Հայաստանում շատ չեն մարդիկ, ովքեր իրենց անցած ճանապարհով, փորձով, գիտելիքներով և լեզվի իմացությամբ կարող են պատշաճ կատարել այդ առաքելությունը: Իշխանությունները, փոխանակ իրենք քաջալերեն, որ այդ մարդիկ այդ օրերին աշխարհի տարբեր մասերում հանդես գան ելույթներով, խոչընդոտում են անգամ ինքնաբուխ արված հրավերը՝ բացառապես պայմանավորված ներքաղաքական և անձնական շարժառիթներով:
Ասեմ, որ սա բացարձակապես անհասկանալի և անընդունելի է: Ցավում եմ այս ճղճիմ վարքագծի համար:
