Вступление Армении в ЕАЭС создало новые геополитические реалии, позволяющие реализовать взаимовыгодные схемы развития международных экономических отношений, заявил член коллегии Евразийской экономической комиссии Ара Нранян.
Присоединение Армении сделает Евразийский экономический союз (ЕАЭС) важнейшим транспортным узлом, соединяющим Евросоюз со странами Персидского залива, Юго-Восточной Азии и Индией, заявил в пятницу член коллегии (министр) Евразийской экономической комиссии Ара Нранян в ходе проходящего в Москве международного экономического форума "Интеграция — новые возможности и пути выхода из кризиса".
Нранян отметил, что вступление Армении в ЕАЭС создало новые геополитические реалии, позволяющие реализовать взаимовыгодные схемы развития международных экономических отношений. "Достаточно даже беглого взгляда на карту, чтобы оценить те перспективы, которые открываются для ЕАЭС с реализацией стабильного, быстрого и доступного транспортного сообщения по оси Россия — Грузия — Армения — Иран", — цитирует Нраняна пресс-служба ЕЭК.
По его словам, Армения уже сегодня реализует проект строительства автомобильной дороги "Север — Юг", соединяющей армяно-иранскую границу с армяно-грузинской. Программа стоимостью более миллиарда долларов осуществляется при совместном финансировании правительства Армении и Азиатского банка развития. Коридор протяженностью в 556 километров обеспечит выход к Черному морю и позволит сэкономить по 2,5 доллара на час езды каждого пассажира и по 1 доллару на час перевозки 1 тонны груза. Проект планируется полностью реализовать к 2019 году.
"Другой важный проект, который сейчас обсуждается, — железнодорожное сообщение Россия — Грузия — Армения — Иран", — сказал министр ЕЭК, отметив, что этот проект коридора "Север-Юг" не только более чем в два раза короче по сравнению с морским маршрутом через Суэцкий канал, но и снижает стоимость и время перевозок грузов.
