Ներքաղաքական վերջին զարգացումները, կածես, սառը ցնցուղ լինեին հասարակության համար: Եթե մինչ ՀՀ նախագահ-ընդդիմություն հանդիպումը ժողովուրդը դեռ ինչ-որ տեղ հավատում էր, որ հայաստանյան ընդդիմությունը կեղծ չէ եւ գործում է հանուն ժողովրդի ժողովրդավարության, ապա ներկայումս ամեն ինչ փոխվել է:
Հասարակության քննադատության եւ ընդդիմադիր ուժերի քայլերի շուրջ, Orer.am-ը զրուցեց քաղաքագետ Սուրեն Սուրենյանցի հետ. «ՀՀ նախագահի եւ կուսակցությունների ներկայացուցիչների միջեւ հանդիպումը տարբեր մեկնաբանությունների տեղիք տվեցին, դրանք եղան ավելի շատ քննադատական շեշտադրումներով: Նկատենք, որ շատերն այս վիճակը համեմատում են 2007 թվականի խորհրդարանական ընտրություններից առաջ ստեղծված իրավիճակի հետ, երբ իշխանությունը բավական հեշտությամբ հաղթեց պառակտված եւ բարոյապես մաշված ընդդիմությանը: Հիմա սակայն վիճակն ավելի ճգնաժամային է, քան այն օրերին, որովհետեւ այն ժամանակ դեռ կային չկրակված քաղաքական ռեսուրսներ, դեռ կար առաջին նախագահի խարիզման եւ մի շարք այլ հանգամանքներ: Հիմա, սակայն, վիճակը շատ ավելի ծանր է, որովհետեւ տիտղոսային ընդդիմությունը, որը հանդես էր գալիս «քաղաքական եռյակ» անունով, ենթարկվել է նոկաուտի, եւ այս պահին չեն երեւում այդ դաշտի վերակազմավորման նոր ռեսուրսներ: Ես ո՛չ կքննադատեմ, եւ ո՛չ էլ կպաշտպանեմ այդ կուսակցություններին, որոնք հանդիպել են նախագահի հետ: Ինձ համար՝ որպես քաղաքագետ, մեկ բան ակնհայտ է, որ այդ հանդիպումը նախաձեռնել է Սերժ Սարգսյանը, եւ հիմա գործընթացի անունն ինչ ուզում եք դրեք` Սահմանադրական քննարկումներ, թե նոր ընտրական ցիկլին վերաբերող հարցերի քննարկումներ. անվանումից էությունը չի փոխվում, որովհետեւ երեկվանից պաշտոնապես մեկնարկել է քաղաքական գործընթաց, որի բովանդակային անունը իշխանության վերարտադրություն է»:
Քաղաքագետը նաեւ հավելեց. «Այն կուսակցությունները, որոնք գնացել են հանդիպումների, անկախ իրենց հրապարակային բացատրությունների, կամա թե ակամա, ընդունում են, որ փողոցով հարց լուծել այլեւս հնարավոր չէ, եւ որ այս պահին հասարակական ներուժը բավարար չէ, որ դրա միջոցով ինչ-որ խնդիրներ լուծվեն, այդ իսկ պատճառով նրանք որոշել են մասնակցել մի գործընթացի, որը նախաձեռնել է նախագահը: Այս ամենը լավ է, թե վատ՝ հարցի մյուս կողմն է, որն էլ արժանի է լուրջ վերլուծության»:
Ընդդիմադիր ուժերի հետագա քայլերի վերաբերյալ էլ Ս. Սուրենյանցը նշեց. «Մենք մի իրողություն պետք է հասկանանք ու ընդունենք, որ անկախ նրանից, թե երեք կուսակցությունները նախագահի առաջարկներին այո, թե ոչ են ասել, ըստ էության, ընդունել են, որ առաջիկա ընտրություններից առաջ խաղալու են այն կանոններով, որը թելադրելու է Բաղրամյան 26-ը:
Իշխանությունն այս պահին վերարտադրվելու այլեւս որեւէ խոչընդոտ չունի, բոլոր այն կուսակցությունները, որոնք երեկ եղել են նախագահականում, այս կամ այն կերպ մասնակցելու են իշխանության վերարտադրությանը»:
