Ազգային ժողովի ՀՀԿ խմբակցության ղեկավար Վահրամ Բաղդասարյանը կարծում է, որ ձևական կլիներ «Հայ ազգային կոնգրես» կուսակցությանը հրավիրել սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների շուրջ քննարկման: «Կոնգրեսը միշտ հայտարարում է` «այս կործանարար իշխանությունների հետ մենք քննարկելու բան չունենք», նման հայտարարություններ անող քաղաքական ուժին ի՞նչ հրավեր ուղարկելու մասին է խոսքը. ձևի՞ համար: Բացի այդ՝ բարդ է ՀԱԿ-ի դեպքում՝ ո՞ւմ կանչեինք, դուք Կոնգրես ասելով ո՞ւմ եք հասկանում:
Խմբակցությունում կա յոթ հոգի ու վեց կարծիք, մենք առանձին Բագրատյանի՞ն, Փաշինյանի՞ն, թե՞ Զուրաբյանին ուղարկեինք հրավեր, չգիտենք: Մենք սպասում էինք՝ իրենց կողմից առաջարկ լիներ մասնակցության»,-«Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ լրագրողների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ ասաց ՀՀԿ-ական պատգամավորը:
Վահրամ Բաղդասարյանի խոսքով՝ սահմանադրական բարեփոխումների շուրջ գործընթացի սկզբնական փուլում իրենք քննարկմանը մասնակցելու համար հաղորդագրություն են տարածել բոլորին, որոշ ուժեր հետաքրքրություն չեն դրսևորել այս կամ այն պատճառով: «Ներքին օղակներում քննարկումների ժամանակ մարդկանց տրամադրվածությունից պարզ է լինում, թե ով է ցանկանում մասնակցել քննարկումներին: Մարդկանց, հնարավոր է, ժամանակ է պետք, որ կարդան ու հասկանան, թե ինչ է գրված հայեցակարգում»,-նշեց պատգամավորը՝ հավելելով, որ բարեփոխումների դեմ արտահայտվող ուժերը ասում են. Մենք դեմ ենք, քանի որ ունենք թեկնածու, որը պետք է դառնա նախագահ»:
«Այն քաղաքական ուժերը, որոնք ընդդիմադիր կեցվածքով հայտարարություն են անում, եթե նայեք իրենց նախկին ելույթները, կտեսնեք, որ դրանք բացարձակապես չեն համապատասխանում իրար»,-եզրափակեց Վահրամ Բաղդասարյանը:
