Այսօր «Եվրանեսթ»-ի խորհրդարանական վեհաժողովի ուկրաինացի համանախագահ Բորիս Տարասյուկը լրագրողների հարցերին պատասխանելիս դժգոհել է, որ հայերը Ռուսաստանի քարոզչության ազդեցության ներքո ճիշտ չեն ընկալում այն, ինչը տեղի է ունենում Ուկրաինայում:
Հետո նրա նյարդերը տեղի են տվել, և նա Ուկրաինայում կատարվող իրադարձությունները համեմատել է Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման պահանջի հետ: Տարասյուկը մասնավորապես ասել է. «Դա նույնն է, որ դուք տարիներով խոսում եք հայերի ցեղասպանության մասին, և որևէ մեկը դա փորձում է ժխտել: Եթե դուք հիմա ժխտում եք, որ Ռուսաստանն ագրեսիա է իրականացրել Ուկրաինայի հանդեպ, ապա ինչպե՞ս կարող եք ամբողջ աշխարհից պահանջել, որ ճանաչեն այդ ցեղասպանությունը»:
Ուկրաինացի պատգամավորին փորձենք մի թեթև բացատրել, թե նախ ինչ է ցեղասպանությունը, և ընդհանրապես, ինչպես կարելի է նման անգրագետ ձևակերպումներով ներկայացնել մի ողջ ազգի մասսայական ոչնչացման փաստը` այն դարձնելով տարօրինակ համեմատություններ ու ծառայեցնել սեփական ամբիցիաներին:
Ցեղասպանություն կամ գենոցիդ է կոչվում տվյալ խմբի անդամների սպանությունը, խմբի անդամներին ծանր մարմնական վնասվածքներ և հոգեկան խեղում պատճառելը, խմբի անդամների համար կենսագործունեության հետ անհամատեղելի պայմաններ ստեղծելը, խմբի ծնելիության վրա ներազդելը, խմբի երեխաներին այլ խումբ փոխանցելը:
Համեմատել այն, ինչ տեղի է ունենում Ուկրաինայում, Հայոց ցեղասպանության հետ ուղղակի աբսուրդ է:
Բորիս Տարասյուկն իր «հանճարեղությամբ» աչքի է ընկել նաև ԱԺ-ում հրավիրված ասուլիսի ժամանակ, երբ հայտարարել է, որ Հայաստանը ԵՄ-ի հետ ասոցացման համաձայնագիր ստորագրել չի կարող, որովհետև նա արդեն իսկ կատարել է իր ընտրությունը: Ապա ձևակերպել է հետևյալ միտքը. «Կիսով չափ հղի լինել չի կարող մարդը, Հայաստանն ընտրել է ԵՏՄ-ն, ոչ թե Եվրամիությունը: Անհնար է լինել և ԵՏՄ-ում, և ԵՄ-ի հետ նոր համաձայնագիր ստորագրել»:
Ուկրաինացու հիշատակած կիսաօրիենտ կարգավիճակը դասական կերպով բնորոշում է ներկայիս Ուկրաինային, որն իր քաղաքականությունը չի կարողանում հստակ ուղղորդի, և մեկ թեքվում է դեպի «Մայր Ռուսիան», մեկ` «նորարար» Եվրոպան, իսկ որևէ մեկից տարանջատվելուց կամ հրամանները չկատարելու դեպքում ստանում հերթական «դաստիարակչական ապտակը»:
Նման պետությունը ներկայացնող անհատը միանշանակ պետք է շրջանցի իրենց համար խոցելի թեմաները, այլ ոչ թե բարձրաձայնի դրանք: Իսկ իր տգիտությամբ ուկրաինացի պատգամավորը ստվեր է գցում երկու երկրների հարաբերությունների վրա, որոնք մանավանդ վերջին շրջանում առանձնապես իրենց ջերմությամբ աչքի չեն ընկնում:
