Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիան հորդորում է չտրվել լրատվական հոսքերի ազդեցությանը, քանի դեռ ՀՖՖ նախագահի կողմից չի հնչեցվել Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի նոր գլխավոր մարզչի անունը: «Արմենպրես»-ի հարցմանն ի պատասխան, մեկնաբանելով ռուսական լրատվամիջոցների տարածած տեղեկատվությունն այն մասին, թե Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզիչ կարող է նշանակվել Վալերի Կարպինը, ՀՖՖ մամուլի ծառայությունից հայտնեցին, որ Հայաստանի հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզիչ նշանակված անձի մասին միշտ առաջինը և անձամբ տեղեկացրել է Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահը:

«Քանի դեռ Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահի կողմից չի հնչեցվել Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի նոր գլխավոր մարզչի անունը, մենք կհորդորեինք չտրվել լրատվական հոսքերի ազդեցությանը, որոնք տարբեր շահեր են հետապնդում: Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի նոր գլխավոր մարզչի մասին մեդիայի տարբեր միջոցների տարածած լուրերը, անունները և հավաստիությունը մեկնաբանելու անհրաժեշտություն չենք տեսնում: Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահը Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզիչ նշանակված անձի մասիÕ ¶ միշտ առաջինը և անձամբ է տեղեկացրել մեդիայի ներկայացուցիչներին: Ազգային հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզչի նշանակումը գործընթաց է, որի մասին անհրաժեշտ պահին կհրապարակվի ճշգրիտ տեղեկատվություն»,- փոխանցեցին ՀՖՖ մամուլի ծառայությունից:

Ռուսական Sportbox.ru կայքը տեղեկություն էր տարածել, թե Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ազգային հավաքականը կարող է գլխավորել Վալերի Կարպինը, ով ժամանել է Երևան և հանդիպում ունեցել Հայաստանի ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիայի ներկայացուցիչների հետ:

Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի գլխավոր մարզչի պաշտոնը թափուր է մնացել այն բանից հետո, երբ Բեռնար Շալանդը Ալբանիայի հավաքականից Հայաստանի թիմի կրած պարտությունից հետո հրաժարականի դիմում էր ներկայացրել ՀՖՖ նախագահ Ռուբեն Հայրապետյանին:
