“Orran” Students Start the New Academic Year with Support from “The Power of One Dram”
ОбществоOn September 1, students of the “Orran” charitable NGO welcomed the new academic year with all the necessary school supplies, with the support of “The Power of One Dram” initiative.
The entire amount raised through “The Power of One Dram” in August - AMD 4,719,020 - was donated by Idram and IDBank to “Orran”.
“The goal of this cooperation is to make the start of the new academic year a special occasion for the children. They even joked that having new school supplies made them even more excited to go back to school. We have many users who specifically choose to make payments through the Idram&IDBank app, knowing that Idram and IDBank allocate 1 dram from each payment to a charitable initiative. This is very important to us, because charity is not only about providing financial support, but also about contributing to initiatives and programs that, through a single decision, can change lives,” said Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of the Communications and Social Responsibility Programs Department at Idram and IDBank.
Representatives of the companies summed up the results of the August “The Power of One Dram” initiative at “Orran” during a special event prepared by the children, filled with songs, dances, and the joyful spirit of September.

We are glad that Idram and IDBank chose us as the beneficiary of this important initiative ahead of the new academic year, because we see how important it is for children to go to school properly dressed, with a new school bag and stationery, and feeling confident and included,” said Armine Hovhannisyan, Founder and Director of the “Orran” charitable NGO.
“The Power of One Dram” continues to support important social, community, and educational initiatives. To participate in the initiative’s good deeds, all payments must be made through the Idram&IDBank app, IDBanking.am and banking.idram.am online platforms, Idram and IDBank terminals, and for each payment, the companies will allocate one dram to important programs.
