Հարցումների ընթացքում ամերիկացիները հայտնել են, թե ինչ հարցեր ամենից ավելի կազդեն նախագահական ընտրություններում իրենց քվեարկության վրա: Համապատասխան տվյալներն իր կայքում ներկայացրել Է Gallup-ը:

ԱՄՆ-ի քաղաքացիների 86 տոկոսը խոստովանել Է, որ իրենց ընտրությունը գլխավորապես կախված կլինի տնտեսության վիճակից: Ամերիկացիներին հուզող թեմաների թվում երկրորդ տեղն զբաղեցրել Է ահաբեկչության հիմնախնդիրը (74 տոկոս), եւ միջազգային հարաբերությունները (61 տոկոս): Ինչպես նշում են Gallup-ի փորձագետները, թվերը դեռ կարող են փոխվել, բայց տնտեսությունն, ամենայն հավանականությամբ, վճռորոշ գործոն կմնա: Միջազգային թեմատիկայի նկատմամբ հետաքրքրության մեծացումը բացատրվում Է Բարաք օբամայի վարչակազմի վերջին նախաձեռնություններով, ներառյալ կոալիցիայի գործողությունները Սիրիայում եւ Իրաքում, ինչպես նաեւ Ռուսաստանի հետ փոխհարաբերությունների բարդություններով:
